Hello! We are quite big studio and have around 50k+ images on 123, however it seems that since last year we are keeping falling down on income, like around 40% less, than same months of last year. Anyone with big volume can support me with his statistics? it feels really bad.

From October 2016 to July 2017 the graphic of my 123RF sales is a perfect 45 descending line

I have portfolio of over 12k images there and regularly received over $400 per month until a year or so ago, now lucky to get $50 - $75. Got an EL a week ago and no sales since - and I do mean NO sales since.

One month it's up, another month it's down. May and June 2017 are even below May and June of 2013.

This time last year I was making a little over $200 a month. Now I am at $75-$100 a month with 4000 images and video.

soon all this small agency like 123rf can stock will close the door...is unavoidable.
for me this month only ss wok strong...dreamstime gives signs of life...fotolia is falling down...istock we wait july...
ss is stronger than ever luckily.
2000 images in 123rf  5,6 dollar.

Yes, 123 has been declining for most. I still make more there than Fotolia so I hope 123 does not close.

I know it won't last forever but I really need to find other means of income. Scary times ...

i don't understand what sell there i suppose mostly lifestyle cause i sell only that and all my sale are 2,30 dollar minimum. but really i sell more times month in alamy than can stock deposit 123 rf and big stock...i don't understand how those agency keep working.
focolai for me is a mistery. i cannot reach a steady level of sales. despite a good portfolio. seems they sell mostly classic micro stock.
shutterstock is best month year and plus 100 % compared to last year.

in my opinion u are good photograph but need to differentiate. shooting mostly children in 2017 is impossible in micro stock.
especially your style. maybe more lifestyle oriented would be good.
children photographer who have success work mostly through workshop and if they are popular in flickr or instagram, i remember this mother in russia she makes photos of their children in nature and with high quality style. she is so famous she do lot of workshop.
in my opinion in micro stock u need mohave more arrows to your bow. niche are minimal nowadays.

I think even if I shot other things outside of children and myself, NO new files sell. It isn't worth it anymore and I'm not the only one saying this...

It is very sad indeed. There is just no incentive.

i am experiencing in 2017 a good sale of files upload between 2016 2017...the file uploaded in 2017 gives me a projected rip of 1 dollar....is not like in the past but is a good start...sure or u have a niche who sell like hotcakes or you are a high volume producer of good content.
the time you upload 300 images year and earn 2 3000 dollar are well over.

Not yet. I only have 54 images up though... I tend to spend hours editing which really slows my portfolio growth. I wish I could just smash them out like hot cakes.

Biggest drop yet in June, though been slowly declining for months.
Down to 2012 levels.
Sold about 25 % of what was a 'normal' month.
Incredible.
:(

From Jan this year a plummeting line down to $2 for June! (8 sales). Completely dead.
