The only notable thing about 123 for me this month was that I got 123 DLs.
I had BMEs on FT and StockXpert, though.

123 hasn't done much for me. Sales are typically about 1/5 of those at BigStock (my next lowest earner). This month, they are at 1/10th of the BigStock sales. Maybe its just the type of photos I upload...

Congrats to the luck ones!  I wish I was in the same boat.

My January at 123 was the worst in about a year and a half.  Other sites did pretty well though.

123RF fluctuates like crazy for me. One month it is comparable to Fotolia and the next it is half of Bigstock. This month it was a bad one, nearly my worst ever.

Yeah close to BME but nothing huge there though. The better part is that it seem I finally can stay log in more than 1 hour now.

I decided to give 123RF a try back in October of 08 just to see what sales were like, and I can't say that I'm impressed. January was just short of my BME there, but my sales are so minimal that it doesn't really matter.

Some people do very well at 123, but I can't seem to crack that nut. Perhaps my style of work doesn't match what their buyers are looking for. I really don't know. I'm sticking with it for now though.

Bad bad bad.  They appear to be a feed-the-beast agency.  With no uploading since September I didn't have a single sale in December.  I didn't send many in January but it did cause a few sales, half of which were subs.  Glad to hear that others are experienceing some success though.  I always worry that this agency will be the next to crash.

I've been fooled by 123 a few times already in the last year.  They seem to explode for a month and make a run at the Top 4 earners.  But just when you are ready to declare them a new power agency, sales completely tank for months.

My guess is they employ some sort of search rotation which favors different contributors each month, which is sometimes rumored to be done at many smaller agencies.

Same here...and December went back to two years.  Sales completely tanked.  However, February is now on par with my BME's, so I'm no longer worried.

I can't really say anything bad about 123rf they have been very constant for me with a payout easily every month.  Even when I didn't upload to them for 4 months due to a move from Italy to the Azores....they still remained constant.  They are not a site that Im going to get rich on....but they add to the pot.   It's funny how some sites are good to some people and other site favor others  Huh

For me December was BME on 123RF, January is back to below normal and February is just pathetic so far :-)

For what it's worth, I will have my WME on 123RF. With half the portfolio online a year ago, I then made 5-6 times more than in February 2009.

"Status quo" as always there. Better than going down! I have noticed downloads stop once I stop uploading just as SS.

SS is totally different than most sites. The secret to sales is presence in the first pages of the search results, not photo quality as such. The SS algorithm of emphasizing new shots therefore gives everybody more equal chances. The downside of it is that if you stop uploading (feeding the beast), your sales will drop dramatically. I didn't upload in 6 months to stock, and on SS my earnings were down by 60%.

On sites like 123RF, the view count seems to play a role in search engine placement, and that can only be built up by time. That's why new shots sell less than fresh ones. It's always amazing that some people report BME's when others report WME's.

I am having my WME this month at 123rf but don't really care as my top 4 sites are all doing extremely well this month and it is already a BME for my overall earnings .
