Should I be uploading different Model Release of the same model to 123RF?  Or should I just attach one Model Release of the same model like DT.  Regardless, I always have the same model sign a different Model Release on every photoshoot.  Of course if needed, I can produce the specific Release for that timeframe.  But, as for 123RF, is it necessary to upload a different Release for each photoshoot of the same model?  It would clean up all the cluttering of a bunch of releases I have for one model.  How do you handle your Model Releases on 123RF?

I don't do a separate release for each shoot.  I only have one model release for each model, and it doesn't specify a particular time frame or a particular shoot.  Thus, it's easy to assign model releases on the stock sites.

Just to be clear, you should get a separate release for every shoot.  It's good documentation in case of a problem with the model, which with any luck you'll never need.  But with the exception of iStock, all the agencies are satisfied with a single release for a specific model.

Thanks for all the reply. Yes disorderly,  I always get separate release for every photo shoot.  Even if it's the same model every time.  I know that iStock requires a separate release for each photoshoot.  Thanks for the heads up for all other sites that requires only one release per model.

Hi Johnny,

You don't need to upload a different Model Release for each photo-shoot of the same model. What you need to do is only attach the MR of a particular model, then attach all images of her (regardless of the different shoots).

Kindly follow the steps as below:
1. Login to 123RF.com
2. Go to "More" under For Photographers section at the footer.
3. Click "Releases" and upload the Model Release. Then, you'll be able to see the list of Release.
4. Click on the "Attach photo or detach photo from this release" at the Action Column.
5. Check the "Attach" checkbox  on the image you want to attach.

Notes:
**Once the checkbox is 'checked/unchecked' the information is already been saved.
**Click on 'Back to Release Folder' to attach more release.

My exclusivity with DT is ear the end..... i read that on Dreamstime and 123RF you don't need a sign MR for every shooting  session......


 But how about SS, IS Fotolia and Canstockohoto?Huh?  you need a sign MR for every shooting session? or like DT and 123RF only one signed for all the photos regardless when they where taken???

PS i will use the general MR from Yuri Arcurs website

iStock requires a release for each specific photo shoot.  None of the other agencies do.  My own experience includes Shutterstock, Dreamstime, Fotolia, 123RF, BigStock, Veer, CanStock, Crestock, DepositPhotos, PhotoDune, ScanStock, StockFresh and a few others.  Zoonar doesn't require the upload of a release.  They only require that you note that you have one.

Bringing this thread back to life to ask a question hopefully someone at 123rf will answer.

I just uploaded my initial 10 and 3 were rejected because they featured models and the rejection reason was incomplete or no model release. The model releases I uploaded with the shots was the same one that has been accepted by Dreamstime, Shutterstock and Fotolia so I need to ask what do you require for a complete model release?

Was the releases properly attached to the images? If not, the rejection reason will be the same as the one you describe. I also use the same releases for the sites you mention and does not have a problem with 123RF, hence the possibility of the problem not being the content.

Good question. I uploaded the releases when I uploaded the images and thought they were attached then. Just now though, I went into the account and looked at my releases and it said there were 0 images attached. Hopefully it took this time, they're back in pending. Odd system, I wondered why the other 7 were accepted so quickly and those 3 sat in pending for over a week before being rejected. It's not clear enough in the upload process if you ask me.

Hopefully I'll get a better result this time. Thanks fro the insight.

Make sure that you manually link the release with the "Attach selected releases to Photos" button underneath the releases list and then selecting the relevant pictures in the pending queue. Also open the actual release you uploaded to make sure it did not get corrupted in the upload. Best of luck this time!  Wink

The 7 day issue is interesting, because that normally happens when a release must first be evaluated as well, which make the process longer. But if the release was not attached, it would not have happened now?Huh What the well, let's just wait and see with this attempt.  Huh
