So I signed up with 123RF a few weeks ago and uploaded a couple dozen photos to start with.  I have since uploaded a couple hundred.  All of my upload are fully keyworded and even Country associated, but they are all still in the INCOMPLETE category.   There is nothing left to do that I can see, but they just sit there as Incomplete.  Any advice?

They used to be very fast but now they have been taken a long time to review (weeks). You did well, you just have to wait... And for editorial photos they can take months. If you want to be noticed try to write them.

If you email them they usually get it sorted. You will soon realise that their site is very flakey.

I have photos pending for more than 5 months. Editorial even longer.

And it's not worth, they lower the commissions every two or three years.

Contributors should not have to beg for reviews.  My files have been waiting months.  I have to assume something is going wrong over there.  After 9 years of uploading... I've removed them from my distribution list.  I'll invest my time elsewhere.

Wow!  Thanks for the all the great answer.

Many of you suggested that I should try somewhere else.  Where do you suggest?

123RF really shouldn't be a concern about review times or anything for that matter-- they screwed us over by demoting many of us several months ago! I was a level 4 and now a level 2 based on their pure BullSH$% of how they can better serve us with our pay cuts!  >:(

All you can do is to email them. I've had images pending for 6 months. Won't upload anything new on 123rf any more.

I don't know why anybody who reads here would sign up for 123rf

They take 2-3 months to approve my images. I still keep uploading to them as I am still selling 60-80 bucks of images a month.

Must be doing the right things because you are better than the average according to the poll. Nice Work!

I think 123 is on life support.  Something happened there where my income went from almost $200 a month to now I can't make a monthly payout.  I have given up providing them content. I have to email them just about every time I upload something.  Just not worth the time.

Pretty sad. They are dying, for some reason.

I have vectors uploaded and still pending since June 2018. I guess, I have to stop uploading for now.

Got a payout last October and then manually deleted my (mainly editorial) 2400 images before asking them to close my account. Commission cuts, low sales and images pending review forever made them not worth the bother. Shame, a few years back they were a decent selling, fair paying, mid tier agency which I was happy to support.

Yes, advise is, remove the images and look somewhere else.

No matter how many people warn others to avoid agencies like this, I'd guess the lure of any small return for hours of work, is an attraction. Read the forum and see all the problems with low payback, slow reviews and poor sales.

Good luck, you'll need it. Come back in 2020 and review how the year went for your uploading effort and begging them to review your files. Please, maybe you can show me wrong? Or if the forum people are right, you might save someone else from wasting their time.

Just had a 0.12 USD sale today, is that the new norm or has this always been around?

Are you at a 30% royalty rate? If so, it's probably a freebie or sale that's paid to you at the minimum per credit value of 40 cents. This minimum credit value for the purpose of calculating royalties is ages old and was a way to ensure contributors got a minimum even if they were heavily discounting for large buyers.

I left 123rf a year or so ago, so there may be something new I'm not aware of.

Ah thanks, yes that might be it then. Never saw these in the last couple of years so thought they'd change something.

After much wasted time there I finally did the same on last week, and I won't look back. That site is dead to me now.

It is only a matter of time before the .15 and .21 sales start trickling in.

I had a backlog of 2-300 from November which have cleared in the last couple of weeks.

I have uploaded another batch of 50. Now when I check I see i have 35,674 downloads (yeah right)
10 accepted (thats 3500 downloads per file!)
44245 pending (as if)
and total earning ZERO

Their database is totally screwed

When I get to $50 I'll cash it in and delete everything (if I can find it)

I can't get to the first page to process my ftp uploads.  It keeps giving me the agreement with no accept button.  Anyone else?

It seems some snowflake at 123 forgot to put the I accept button on that page. I hear blue hair is in style this year also.

My footage was uploaded in October, it's still pending.

What a joke of an agency. Lower commissions and they don't even work hard for their money.

123 has always been slow to review.  I started routinely sending them a message whenever I uploaded, so things would get reviewed.  Now that has stopped working.

Time to bail, I think.

Hi all!
I was looking for 123RF information and I see that I found it. I have 300 images pending revision since January, after the first 16 approved and another 300 pending upload (as long as I do not hear from the agency). They do not respond to my emails. I thought I was expecting too much but I see that you have been doing it for months ... After reading your comments I think I'm going to delete everything in this agency and forget about it ...
Regards!

I'm pretty sure 123RF is dead in the water. I also signed up last year and uploaded a handful of images through their pathetic admin page that won't let you edit meta unless you install a Flash plugin. This alone should put them out of business. After no feedback for a month i decided to cancel my account with them but even that is almost impossible. So i just removed all my images and then let it fade into oblivion. I wish i'd read the forums before signing up.

I wish I've found this topic a bit earlier :)

I have a few hundred images on Shutterstock, and I'm just starting to upload images to other agencies. I also uploaded my first 10 to 123RF about a week ago, but now that I've read through this topic I won't wait for them...just deleted my images and I asked for my account to be deleted.

Thanks, guys :)

Yeah, the official process is that you submit your content, and they review them when you get fed up of waiting for several months and email them to complain.

Even though they are not reviewing items for some reason, 123 still performs the same (or better) then AS so I hope they don't leave.
