Having terrible run of no sales is it just me and I'm having a bad run or maybe there a problem with the site

I have about 400 video clips waiting for review.
I hope when I reach 1,000 I will get a nice price...
Are they still interested in video footage?

Me too. Been making about $200 a month on 123 but today I am at $63 with just three days to go.

Usually I have at least one sale per day on 123RF, but this month there is a "hole" in my statistics with no sales from 15th to 25th...

Also they paid me on time (15th or 16th), but the earning stats reflected this payment only ten days later. So I strongly suspect they had a major issue with their database. Can't say if there haven't been any sales, or if they just haven't been reported...  ::)

Mmm ... September is average for me, but 123 has the best performance in 2016 compared to 2015.

Earnings from 123 in 2016 are 6,39% of my total. In 2015 were 4,82%.

I'm seeing growth for the past 3 months. This has been a BME for me, but my port is small, less than 1000 images.

8 downloads in September, $26 total.
Started there in June, 3290 clips and 108 images. Images were added in August. Definitely feels like photo stock agency.

123rf has been pretty consistent but this month is beyond abysmal.

I've had some weekdays without sales which is really strange as we head into the busier season. I wondered if they were starting to circle the drain - I have some images uploaded 2 weeks ago that haven't been reviewed, but they were slow in that regard back in the spring when sales were fine.

I had checked a few searches earlier in the month to see if my images had been hit by a change in default search results, but I didn't see that. As others are seeing an unusually bad month, perhaps it is them, not us :)

It's funny for me to see people comment that 123 is consistent for them because it is my 'streakiest' site. We sometimes go weeks without sales and then will go days with way above average sales. My September is looking to be as good as August from a bird's eye view.

I'm not a big player so its hard to know if its an error or bad sales...just seems strange to get consecutive days of nothing. 123 has always done relatively well for me

I'm on the top tier at 123.  Usually make around $400/month.  This month below $150.  Worst Month I've had in years there and happened all of a sudden.  Not a gradual decline.

What do you mean by top tier? Level 10 with more than 1,000,000 credits per year?

Level 5 I believe. That was the level where they didn't drop earnings % when they went to the level system.  I didn't know they went higher.  Anybody know someone higher than 5?

There must be a bug in their earning report. Microstock Analytics and Stockstats reported same amount of earnings. These earnings are not shown in the earning report of 123rf.

Top level is 10 with 1000k credits/last 12 month, as Zero Talent said. I gasped for air when I read you are level 10, but it motivated me to upload more. Is level 10 even possible?

Btw. anybody knows how many credits are videos worth, I couldn't find that info?

The video review is on request by the contributor, means your video will not be review until you ask them to review. why? because 123rf runs by the idiots.

Sales on 123rf with about 5000 video files are catastrophe... we don't even get to $100 a month. And for some reason about thousand files are still pending for review more than a month. September sales are $5.

I find this trend across all my microstock sites.

I think it's because Google is scraping the images and allowing people to right-click to take them -- there are other threads about this -- I don't think its just coincidence that those 2 things happened at the same time.

Google, Yahoo and Bing has been doing this since 2012. And outside of Getty, other agency images comes with watermarks.

Don't worry about the search engines. Focus on creating content that buyers will buy.

I'm about 1/7 of last month (which was a good month for them) and maybe 1/4 of what passes for normal there now. I have been having multiple week days in a row with no sales or just one measly sub. It is pretty sad and still a far cry from the promised doubling of sales.

I am also sad to see the useful information that was available in the old contributor pages gone.

Is it mainly photos or it includes footage as well?
In other words, is it worth at all uploading video here (assuming that they would one day review it)?

My sales still show zero.  I emailed 123 to get that resolved but my month is low.  For the last 18 months I have been at about $200 a month and came in at $110 this month and $80 last month. Must have been a search shift of some kind.

"It would mean a great deal to us if you could tell us why youve stopped shopping at 123RF.com :("

Received a survey request from 123rf this morning. I clicked on the link, but it's clearly targeted at buyers not contributors.

I don't have a buyer account there so I'm not sure why I received this - I did find it interesting that their incentive was something that doesn't cost them anything (free month with StockUnlimited) versus a discount or incentive to shop at 123rf. If you wanted to get buyers back to 123rf, why wouldn't you let them shop there for free as the "thank you"?

I thought the list of questions was a bit strange - starting out with asking for my "UID" - they don't use that terminology anywhere on the site. They use "Username/Email" on the English version of the site if you go to log in (and I assume that's what they want). They might also have pre-filled that out with the e-mail they sent the invitation to so as to save me a step.

It always bugs me when there's no "other" option, especially when the list of choices doesn't look complete to me - for example, why not have an option for "my company purchased a subscription at another site". Let me tell them why I don't purchase there any more versus assuming they already know all the possible reasons.

The fact that they're doing a survey suggests that they're seeing some fall off in business (it's also possible that they're just supremely attentive to customers, but then I've no idea why they'd be sending that e-mail to a contributor who never bought anything in that case)

Anyone else get one of these?

re sales - same old same old. No rise nor fall for 12 months. Just trundles along...upload/no upload, no change...

re survey/sales - I wanted to buy a few images the other day using my credits (it's a long, tedious story). But could not find out how to convert. So 123 lost the sales, another site gained them.

With the old interface they had about a year where we'd be paid at the minimum level for the first few days of each month and then they'd figure out our actual percentage royalty and adjust all the numbers. I can only assume that they really aren't trying very hard to fix this "beginning of the month" problem.

Either that, or their software people are all terrible :)
