Alamy sales are much fewer than on micro but they are worth the effort. I sold an image for $1300 last year (before the 60% commission) and was getting decent sized sales at least every other month with just under 300 images online. Sales have been a bit slower for me in the past few months but I'm sure they'll pick up again. You have to be patient.

Suit yourselves. I don't mind where people buy my RF images. Nor do I think people are stupid if they buy on Alamy rather than the micros. I'm sure they've got their own reasons.

yes, like different licence terms, credit terms, etc

Plus they're probably not paying with their own money.
