I am not a vector artist but I saw this on Alamy and was wondering if vector artists opt in to this?

The 30% counts against all images in your cart. I checked that.

3 images 1 vector

Order Summary
Subtotal:    136.00
Promo code applied:
( 30% discount )- 40.80
VAT @ 20%:    19.04
Total: 114.24

I'm referring more to the "all rights" verbiage.

Isn't that RF, with no restrictions?

When I sell an RF image that doesn't give the buyer all rights.  I guess I am asking, then, what "all rights" means.  To me is is like the Google thing.  They basically own the rights to my images. Would "all rights" constitute resale? Probably not, but that's why I made the post.  Thought someone might know better than I.

It's certainly badly phrased, and possibly refers to all the rights you can choose to eliminate from RM files, (so a  vector contributor apparently can't submit RM?). There was something whereby vector submittors currently can only submit 1000+ EPS vector files on a hard drive, but they'll be opening up for site upload 'soon'.

This is the relevant thread over there. Maybe you'd get an answer there.
I agree that the text of that ad practically implies copyright transfer, so a very wise question.

BTW, all vectors over there seem to be RF only and it might concern some here to know that Yay is supplying vectors to Alamy. (I have no idea if it's all their vectors, or just some.) Not sure if Yay media AS is the same as YayMicro.

Misleading wording in the ad, I agree.

Yay has an opt out for all partners, including alamy. That is one great thing about them at least. Just go to the API Details page under your account if anyone wants to get rid of the Alamy link.
