So, I have this photo in which only half of a persons face is shown (from bottom of the nose down). Also person is slightly blurred because of DOF. Anyway, I uploaded this photo to SS and FT without release and it was accepted. Now when I upload this photo to Alamy and select 1 person in photo, and then below at "Do you have release" I select NO, alamy automaticly puts this image as Right managed. I want it to be RF. What should I do?

You should have release signed and click YES

On Alamy for rf they want release for everyone in photo, whether they are in background, blurred or only a part of their body is shown

Wait for editorial RF on Alamy, whenever it comes.

Even an unremarkable fingertip on Alamy needs a model release, and needs to be indicated as one person.

It's already here on new accounts.

You can select Royalty Free and tick the box for Editorial only in the optional tab

Not just new accounts now. Looks like the roll out is well under way - check out the numerous threads on the Alamy forum for a lot of useful information on how to get to grips with the new system. Still waiting for it myself though!

Quite right as of this morning I too got the new editor.

Just uploading all the RF editorial shots I could previously only put on SS & DT

Same here unless upload is different from manage section. I'll need to go read and look some more. Thanks all for the heads up.
