Did you upload anything lately? What is the review time now?
Thanks.

I have had about 75 approved with no problems. Now I have 10 sitting in QC. Will they tell you what ones have been rejected? Why would the next batch be rejected also?

Almost exactly 30 days after your submission, you will get a reject. They will only give you a reason for the one image they are rejecting. All other images in that batch or submitted between that batch and the rejection will also be rejected. It is one of the frustrating things about working with them and there are several threads on their forums about it.

My experience that batches that pass are always early the next business day. The first thing I check if that doesn't happen is to see if there are any UK holidays.

I was rejected once, over a year ago. I got that info second day after uploaded batch. I could upload next batch the same day (so I did). When I pass I usually get info in two days too.

In last column of Media submissions named Status (Terms explained) you can see little "i", click it and you'll see all images rejected, but the bad one will have Rejection reasons visible.
Mine was Noticeable retouching  and yes, I'm glad they found it. My mistake.

The way Alamy review has plus and minus:
plus - they can accept much more images than if reviewing one by one. It would take months to review every single image...
minus - you can make a mistake and upload bad image and it'll be on sale soon, but... it's your gallery, you are the author and it's in your business to put only best quality images that can sell.

If they are accepted, that is. If they are rejected, you have to wait almost a month, as dbvirago said above. Plus everything you submitted in the meantime will be rejeceted, too.

Not always, I think I've gone to 9 days and been accepted, a while back.
If anyone hasn't uploaded for a while, be aware that the acceptance email doesn't come out right away nowadays. If you check Track Your Submissions, you'll see when they get in - it can be over a week when you get the email, often three or four different batches together (i.e. batches accepted at different times).

not sure what my longest historical is..but at the moment they seem to be down to a few days for me, so if I got to day 5/6 and not been reviewed I would think myself very lucky to avoid the sin bin..

..thanks for tip on the email I didn't know that, I have just assumed I had missed the email..somehow..

Just had a batch accepted after just under 4 days. I'm completely new there, my first "proper" upload after being accepted. The email must have gone out pretty well immediately as I had checked on the site an hour or so earlier and they were still waiting.
Now to keyword etc. . .

The last three weeks have produced fast reviews, usually within 1-2 days.  Always "Passed QC".

Yeah, not my favourite job, but at least the images there are accepted, so the work on the description and so on is not in vain. :)

Must be the day for it. Batches, dating from Sat morning, just came in. I'd been refreshing 'track submissions' but seeing your post above made me check - and the email is in too - though that covers batches from the 13th to date.

They probably have luck of reviewers or IT experts! Did u receive this below? I received it today:

Want to work in an industry you love? We know you love images but do you love data, have a passion for SEO or maybe youve got a developer background or know someone who does? Were expanding our technical team and have several new opportunities at Alamy HQ in Oxfordshire.

Were looking for people who are passionate about our industry, so where better to start looking than our contributors? You wont find any information on our site about these jobs yet. So, if you want to be in with a chance get in touch now: [email protected].

Image SEO (Contract)
Were looking for an expert in Image SEO to help us continue to improve the rate our images are indexed on Google. Weve got access to plenty of expertise on normal SEO so please only get in touch if you have direct experience of indexing millions of images. Youll be working with our digital marketing team in the UK but could work remotely.

SEO Intern (Temporary, Abingdon, UK)
Would you like the opportunity to learn about search engine optimisation and Google Analytics and earn along the way? We are looking for a graduate level intern to work with us for 3-6 months.

Front End Developer (Permanent, Abingdon, UK)
If you have experience in UX design, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript with frameworks like JQuery/Bootstrap and want to help us develop the best UX experience for our customers and contributors get in touch.

Data Analyst (Temporary, Abingdon, UK)
Were working on a number of projects to improve the quality and relevance of our search results including image recognition, machine learning and natural language processing. Were looking for a highly numerate, graduate level scientist to help us make sense of our vast, complex data sets. It could lead to a permanent position.

If you are a professional photographer and Alamy is part of your busines, this means that you'll upload an average of almost 50 perfect pictures per week as I do, including livenews. In this case every batch will be reviewed in no more than 36 hrs. If you fail QC the delay will be longer
