I've finally been set uo to upload files.  Did some todya, I'm using a DSL connection and it took about five minutes per image to upload.

Same here, I uploaded my 4 this evening.  Do they really take 25 days to QC them?

An uncompressed file size of between 48MB and 200MB.  If you use Photoshop the uncompressed file size can be found in the bottom left of the window or on the ‘image size’ dialog box.  Don’t forget if you’re using 16bit RAW files to change them to 8 bit before you upsize them.

My interpolated 49MB images when saved as a compressed jpeg have a file size of just over 6MB.

Yeah, my first was approved in 3 days. 2nd has been sitting there for 3 weeks

I have waited for fist QC for 4 weeks; after that i submitted in one week 12 batches (3-7 files each); they all we passed QC in 3 days after the last batch. Now again I am waiting for 10 batches to pass QC already 3 weeks.
Does not look that they do it fast, rather sporadically ...

Does the 48meg to 200 meg requirement at Alamy that you were speaking of above allow for "upsizing" in a photo editor or do they expect it to come off of a high end camera that way?

I am learning here so please forgive my ignorance ...
