there are a few exceptions but genearlly no.  I put Rights managed work on alamy and RF work on the micros.

On that note however.

I hear people all the time saying that you could get in trouble, or customers could be very angry by putting images on both places. 

however i don't think there are many customers that shop at both places.
I wonder if anyone does activly submit the same images to both places.  Alamy doesn't have a rule against this.  I wonder why?

i have had a total of 3 sales and earned a total of $560.  I have had images there for a little over a year.  So it sounds not too bad, but I earn almost that much on shutterstock each month... so it isn't really that great.

Correct, there is nothing in Alamy's contract that limits you from selling your images with both Alamy and microstocks.  I have some on both to, but not very many on Alamy.  I haven't sold anything on Alamy and stopped contributing there a while back.

how many pictures do you have on Alamy and how many do you have on Shutterstock?

Are alamy strict on approvals?  Do you submit there first and if reject submit to the micros or do you take different types of pictures for each?

mostly i take different types of pics for each place.  news things and things I can't get a release for, go on alamy, and also a few travel photos.

Alamy works more on a user defined review.  You basically review your own photos and decide what is good enough... so in the regard the micros are more strict.
