Didn't think it was possible for images to be unzoomed! Happened to anyone else?

Mine still there but I wouldn't take zooms too seriously as an indicator of sales

I reckon a good proportion of zooms result in sales......eventually wheels grind slow at Alamy I find.

I can't even log into Alamy today, stuck in endless loop of login screen. Anyone else?

Or views. I have had sales with no zooms or views. I we get too involved wasting time on watching details and data and forget that only sales make money. What does an unsold zoom prove? That someone looked and bought something else. Maybe time to make a better version of same shot. AFter that, it's just watching the wheels go by.

As you say views and zooms only really help to know what people are looking for and how close you might be. If I get a few zooms on something I would take it as a guide to do something better along the same lines.

Agree that zooms don't necessarily mean sales, just wanted to understand how they can go down.

Not sure where you're looking, but are you sure you have the same date range in whatever two comparison points you're viewing?

Yes, my view as well. It's advise and saying what people might be looking at to buy, and I should make an updated or better version. That could lead to future sales.

I forgot my Alamy password. Therefore I can't figure out what you are talking about.

Mine went down slightly when I reached 12 months because you are only seeing 12 months at a time. My first month had more zooms than the current month.

That's it Zalee and Jo Ann, I didn't realise it was just the last 12 months! I thought the zooms total was added continually from the day I joined. The views figure hasn't gone down though!

Zoomis go down every month because they show only for certain period. So zooms go down at the beginning of every month, jesus.

Wrong actually as it reports an annual period (plus 1 month) currently Period : 01 Jul 2016 to 05 Jul 2017  depending where you look. So if you are going to start invoking jesus get it right.....I thought the forum was to help people out?
