I guess everyone has seen their alert about Bigstock blending their extended licenses.  It looks like they go for $99 (that is the On-Demand price - I assume with credits it is a whole lot less).

What do we get from that?

Is it just me or does this seem like a very low fee for an extended license of any kind?

To answer my own question, I found this in another thread.  I think the rate of 29.7 looks accurate doesn't it?

"New Commission Chart
For new Pay As You Go purchases we pay contributors 30% of the US dollar price. For purchases made using credits we pay $0.50 USD for each credit spent, just like before. This also applies to Extended Licenses. Here is a detailed breakdown of how much you will earn with each type of purchase (all values in USD):
Pay as You Go               Credits (just like before)
Small                       $0.90                           $0.50
Medium                    $1.50                           $1.00
Large                       $2.70                           $2.00
X-Large                    $3.90                           $3.00
Vector                      $3.90                           $3.00
Extended License       $29.70                         $25.00 "

Another more for less scheme? What's your take on this?

I am okay with the price.  $100 is what I charge for an EL on my own site.  But the split is another issue.

I don't see why we should only be getting 25% of an EL sale and BigStock keeps 75%.

They sell so few, we really should get 50% to compensate for our low earnings.  If they sell lots more, they can take more in commission but very low sales and low commissions is really unattractive.  It was great when Zymmetrical were around paying 70% commission for EL's but not many people supported them.
