only about 500 dls a year on BigStock (lowest earner).......but...I heard SS has big plans for BigStock...I can imagine easily making an extra 49501 DLs on BS this year!

I've had 17 sub sales at BS since 16th Feb.

Now I just need another 49,983 more over the next 5.5 months to maintain my 38c royalty rate.

So far just two. Which could be good news in a way - if the sales aren't there, the "experiment" is a failure. By that I mean cheap subs on BigStock. If SS sees that they can't do anything much about subs volume by dropping the price, perhaps they'll drop the whole misbegotten idea.

On the other hand, they'll probably let it go longer than another couple of weeks, and I'm out of Bigstock March 15th unless they change something by then. I'm not expecting that as they've bought the silence of the large contributors by giving them six months at their existing 38 cents...

I'll be very fair about this. When nearly 90% of the people answering will get 27 cents or less, I can't see that as very inviting or encouraging for anyone to join or upload anything new.

Whoever said, the bridge plan was a way to fill BS with the best of the best, and then sneak in the lower prices, hit that one on the head. Those people just got included in what looked like a nice path to more downloads, instead it was a trap to get their work included in the new subscription package.

This could work out, and make more money. If it doesn't draw users from SS and doesn't sap downloads from the standard program. In other words, brings in new instead of just moving sales. It's a beneficial change.

If it's just shifting the standard downloads and taking buyers from SS, at a lower commission, it's going to decrease income for artists.

I'm still giving it time and lets see what's happening in September when the plan has had some time to season and mature.

50,000 downloads. LOL It's either "the rich get richer" or some sinister plan to set an impossible goal, just to watch and laugh.

Someone is telling porky pies with the 50000+ vote.

Ditto.  I doubt if even Yuri makes that many dls on such a low volume site.
