Just passed the 1,000 images mark at BigStock.  Closing in at two others.  Too bad that Bridge to BigStock doesn't work both ways.   Tongue

I stopped uploading to BS a while back because of too many irrational rejections and virtually no sales.  SS is just the opposite, and is doing well for me.  Weird, isn't it?

I suppose the sales are slow but by being the first site to accept 1k of my images ... welllllll.   Grin

Compared to most contributors, my sales are slow everywhere.

I don't know what happened, but after doing very well on BS all year, come the first of December it totally died.  I mean dropped of the face of the earth.  Same images doing fine elsewhere, particularly on SS, but at BS, zero, nada, zilch.

BS has never been exciting.  I keep hoping an increase in portfolio size will increase the excitement (sales).   Cheesy

Just passed the 1,000 images mark at BigStock.

There's the proof that we wanted that, BigStock takes anything. Huh  Wink

Nice mark and good going.

Is it worth uploading to Bigstock? I only have a few images up so far, but although they are images that sell well at Shutterstock I haven't sold anything at Bigstock yet.

its all about your time and if a few small $ are key to you or not, honestly I rather upload to them than doing jack Cheesy

For me, they are around 10 - 15% of the income of Shutterstock - actually the poll numbers are pretty accurate here!

I don't find them too complex to upload to, although those guessed categories seem to always need changing, and they accept most of my images.

I'm new to Bigstock and find it slow. Hard to believe it's so high on the Poll Results to the right.

About 1000 images and lucky to get a couple bucks per month.

One of my worst agencies sadly.

I have to say I'm impressed with BigStock.  I was invited via Bridge to BigStock and in just 3 months it's jumped to #2  (SS is of course #1...I also submit to DT, FT, and blah iS...and Alamy and Getty via Flickr).  I'm encouraged with my short experience there.

I should have added that I've had 2 ELs there this month so that obviously has helped since ELs aren't common at most sites (except SS...LOVE THEM!)  I used to get them regularly at FT but not so much lately.

For me, BigStock is at about 1/6 my SS earnings.  (It is usually matched these days by 123RF.)   I'm in the "Bridge" program, so it's nice having one fewer place to upload to each day.

This is my 3rd month and I've made several hundred dollars for doing nothing.  Can't complain about that!   Wink

For me a lot less than 123 or Fotolia. In the same sort of tier as Canstock or Depositphotos

Well, I started BS about 6 years ago, and I made $50 a month with 300 images.  Now I make $60 a month 5 years later with 2500 images.  I wonder if they are growing or ending up like Stockfresh.

I stopped uploading to BS about a year ago, give or take, because the rejection rate was too high.  They were even rejecting stuff that sells on SS.  A few weeks ago, I decided to see if anything had changed, and they accepted 100% of a small submission, so I began uploading again, and my rejection rate was pretty low.  But I've been stuck at $6.00 in sales for months.  My current BS portfolio is 492 pics.   Undecided

My earnings there haven't kept up with portfolio size either.  I think it's growth, though.  When the Bridge to Bigstock program started, for example, my sales were knocked back quite a bit due to increased competition.  After quite a few months they are recovering.

First site I joined I think. Completely different customer. I would say 99% web use. Although I did 50 % better when Tim and Dawn owned it.
