I have!

It's my BME with Bigstock but what makes it impressive is not that.

It is the fact that;
- I didn't upload a single image for more than 5 months
- There is still 12 days to go until the end of the month

Shutterstock effect? I think so!

For me, it's been quite the opposite, this month. Looks like it'll turn out to a WME since early 2009, despite regular uploads.

Strange!

I was sure shutterstock advertising push was the reason!

Shutterstock is performing very well for me. Bigstock has never been a big earner, so a BME is as easy to achieve as a WME; I'm not too worried about it.

Yeap Bigstock doesn't make a big difference either way. I am a bit disappointed to find out It's just me. I was kind of hoping everybody was having a good month which would indicate a growth for the site and more consistent future sales for everyone.

I have!

And what is your portfolio size there, mr. anonymous? I'm with them 5 years and made it to privileged uploader (all sites have those, although they will deny, of course). My earnings fell to 1/3 the past 2 years. By some coincidence, I happen to know much more of their inner workings. SS bought a cat in a bag or a Pig_in_a_poke]pig in a poke.

I have!

I have 911 images. BigStock has never been a huge earner for me, but since SS announced their purchase of BigStock, my downloads dropped to virtually nothing for those few months. But I also stopped uploading too, pondering exclusivity at IS.

Since the day they pushed the new site through, I have been getting steadies. Mind you, it still will not be a big earner for me (fingers crossed that I am wrong and that turns around too) but I have noticed a big jump in downloads.

It's not just you.  I'm also having a great month.  Will probably turn out to be my BME.

Last month was a BME and this month will also be good, maybe better. Definitely on the rise for me.

Amazing. I'll never grab the search engines of all these sites, I guess. Great portfolio!

Bigstock's previous search engine was killing my portfolio. They were below canstockphoto. Yes, canstockphoto and some months even below crestock with more images than crestock.

That was plain "wrong" considering the general opinion on this forum. I think since the new website design, the search engine is better because BigStock is where it is supposed to be for me now. Between 123rf and Canstockphoto!

I'm not that stupid as I sound here, and you know now where that buyer of your red haired family came from. I was a bargain at DT! Let me guess, IS rejected it for "feathering"? Lol...  Grin

LOL - I didn't even bother sending it IS......
A new MR for every shoot is too cumbersome, or is it every 3rd minute of a shoot?  Wink
Thanks for the purchase Hugo, maybe someday I can return the favor! Grin

Add me to the YES column.  February was my worst month in 3 years at BigStock, but March is on track to be one of the best - maybe even BME.

We still aren't talking huge numbers here, but downloads have about quadrupled there for me since the site redesign.  I am so glad, because I was pretty close to writing them off.

We all bow to your numbers and your talent.  Wink For the mere mortals here, BigStock seems to go down.

December, January and February all sunk to a 3-4 year low.

March is in like a lion! It started with the new look. Keep it up BigStock and SS teams.

Something changed for me for sure , and BS is on its best way to take lately at least unimpressive DT from 4 place , if someone told me it will happen few months ago id called him crazy
cause the difference between those 2 was around 10x in DT favor.

Well, it's all in the search engine, as we know. Lizard and Suljo dwell on the lofty heights of the Olympus too, but they are illustrators. Apparently BigStock is fiddling a lot with the search engine at the moment.

BS never been a great earner for me but I used to have steady numbers  there but now it all  reached to bottom level. I personally blame the search as it seems to be favouring most downloaded file among my portfolio which is why -I believe- my new files don't get any sales at all .Shame, after closure of StockXpert I'd like them to be a better performer  but see have no hope unless something changes there.
but  this is just my experience and it is still good to hear some having success with them

Better than other months, perhaps, but nothing impressive on my side.

I still miss the higher-value sales, I've been only getting 0.50-1.00 for months.
