From the rules
"... Contributor agrees not to sell images assigned to custom or premium pricing, on other websites or sales channels for less than you sell them for here..."

This has no sense unless the photo is exclusive to BigStock. Also other agencies may modify the price without notifying me.
So it's a useless feature (for non-exclusives)?

I agree with your assessment.  I was excited to see this feature, but since I can't control the pricing on other sites I am on I won't be able to price up any images unless they are exclusive to BigStock.

Unfortunately, right now there is not the sales volume there to support submitting exclusive images.

You have it right! It is useless, as we have no control over any sites pricing and even the ones we do, could change tomorrow. Also BigStock does not pay a penny extra for exclusives. Sounds good when you first start reading the agreement, but that ends soon as you read on to the bottom.

I think this agreement should be re written so that it could be used. I know I would add some, if the images were not exclusive to BigStock and they could be any price elsewhere.

I think the idea is great, and it is good to see that it doesnt require an exclusive image.

I think it would be better to allow a smaller increase (ie up to double?) regardless of price elsewhere (fotolia has different prices for different contributors entire port) this is 5% of port.

in current form could see some limited uses, ie if an image is doing extremely well there and not elsewhere (I have some exclusive on FT, that I deleted elsewhere and made exclusive because they sold very well on one site and only the one site). Or if you are emerald on fotolia and have higher pricing there and images that have gone up levels on dt, it may be worth pulling specific images from the remaining cheaper sites and increasing prices on BigStock (although I wouldn't think it common ??). Or of course if anyone has a seperate midstock collection??

If only a few other sites had the same offering it would be very attractive

I have a separate portfolio on alamy but most of that is RM.  It is too much work to have another separate collection for midstock and I don't think it would be worthwhile.  Some sites sell my microstock images at higher prices with no problems, perhaps some buyers look for cheaper prices but I think most seem to buy from the site where they find what they want.

BigStock should just let us increase prices without any restrictions.  It worked well on Lucky Oliver and there were less buyers there.

Quote from Bigstock:
"!! Important note regarding pricing: You may not sell images at any other website for LESS than you sell your images for here. If your lowest price for an image is $10 here at BigStockPhoto, you may not sell that image, at any size, anywhere else, for less than $10 - or you forfeit all earnings from that image from the date you assign it as Premium. By using this Premium Pricing feature, you agree to this condition."

So I think,
if I am selling at other miscrostock agencies and set small size ~ 1 credit then
it is allowed to increase price for other sizes (Medium/Medium-Large/Large).
Or am I wrong?

Web Sites where you set your own price, CANNOT survive unless they implement this. Basically the idea is that the photographer sets the minimum acceptable price, and then seeks out web sites where this price is not compromised, if it goes lower on any web site, you remove your images.

Actually, this is probably a good place to put images rejected by other sites, since, in effect, they would be exclusive.
