Is there any point to do this? Keeping in mind that Bigstock was purchased by Shutter some time ago. Your thoughts.

I have been with them since 2006 and this is my worst year yet.   They used to have a bit of spunk but all they sell anymore is random subs.  Looking forward to dumping them year end.

Not worth it. They undercut SS's sub pay which seems very underhand of SS, especially when some people have been given the same level via bridge. Also sales have dipped a lot in the last couple of years.

not if u want to cannibalize your sellers. if u like, i would say ... just upload your non-sellers there, but none of your good earners as u earn less with BigStock per sale.

BigStock used to be good, with good ppl working there, but since ss took over, many good ppl left and it stinks now. 8)

Like others have said, BS was a great little agency, till SS bought them and basically ruined it. I kept my port there but stopped uploading after SS took over. I no longer trust SS because of this.

Thanks for replies! It seems, that i will not waste my time by uploading to their site.
I think SS leave BS aside just for earning money from stockers, but not letting them to ear. Nevertheless SS is my best selling site.

I am asking such questions to prevent my time wasting. For example, recently,  i'm surprised with DT super-crazy-random-rejections, even more crazier, than SS.

For me, BigStock performed really well this month. More then Dreamstime and 123rf combined.

I know, it is an old topic, but I want to ask a question. The consensus above was to not upload SS portfolio to BS, because it would cannibalize sales on SS. But do you think it is really so? Let's say I have an image which sells well on both SS and BS. Do you think if I remove it from BS I will get more sales on SS? I think if image is removed from BS, a buyer will simply buy some other image from BS, because I do not think a lot of them have subscriptions on both SS and BS. What do you think guys?

Its not great for me...but I don't think we can ever know re the cannibalisation thing ...I would say upload some and see if it works for you...people can have widely different experiences on the smaller sites

every site has their own customers, if you talk cannibalization than all sites need to be considered not only BS, i still sell the same images accross all agencies, and i agree, the client will not switch agency to find an image if they dont even know it exists, they will purchase the best fit for their needs.

Bigstock is a Shutterstock test for cut-experiments.

Them, when lowering fee,  all people crying!

Dont do it.

So I guess that would mean that it makes sense to upload SS port to BS to get more BS sales which should not negatively impact SS sales.
