Title: Close-up Lens

I'm planning to get a close-up lens for my Canon 70-200mm F/4 L lens. Anyone has experiences with close-up lenses? Any recommendations would be appreciated. I'm looking for something like +5 or more...

I had a 500d canon and never use it. Better to get a macro lens. The tamron 90mm is good value

Thanks for your reply. But I don't want to get a macro lens.

How to compare this 500D (Canon) with +1, +2, etc (Hoya or B+W)? Kind of confused...
