Ok , I had my first not so successful sensor cleanining today.

Anyway I haven't menage  to get rid of sensor dust , at least not all of it , I had three swabs attempts today  , and first time I had more than one attempt.

When I looked trough viewfinder I almost got heart attack  ;D , there were hundreds of dark f.....s looking at me from inside.
I made few shoots , and they don't show on photos so I guess they are sitting on the mirror and prism combined , I have few spots on the sensor but I cant get rid of those too this time.

No way I can  blow them away , they are stacked for good and all I managed is to move around just few of them.

Time to visit Canon again , I know how much they will ask for the sensor , but I'm wondering , what about prism and mirror ?
I guess I could live with few spots that dont show on photos , but there is an army standing between me and the object.

Does someone have similar experiences with mirror or prism , and If so , I would appreciate an advice or information.

Thanks

I would sell the camera and buy a new one. Then only change lenses in a clean spot! I use my kitchen table and blow the dust off of the camera and lens and do a quick change. Never outdoors.

I carry two cameras most of the time. Canon XSi with L 70-200mm f2.8 and Canon XTi with L 24-105mm f4 So I rarely ever have to change lenses, just switch cameras.

Expensive that way but worth it if you do a lot of shooting.
