Yeah, looks like a very cool piece of Hardware. Especially the built in Wifi and GPS. I compare it currently to the D600 from nikon, which has a higher res (24MP) and Video Focus tracking (which I am missing aloooooot). Also the Focus seems to be better on the Nikon.

Now the dilemma. 60-D, 6-D or wait for the 70-D?  :o

Good news for me is I shoot mostly from May until October, it's the slow time now so I don't have to make any snap decisions. I can wait for the reviews to come in on this one. Wondering how long it will take to render a large panorama made with full frame images?

...my thoughts ;-) Some argue that MP is not everything, but 20 MP for this price seems a bit  :o
The D600 however is worth a look with a FF and 24MP - same price as the 6D.

the mark 2 is a deal at 1700$
it is a few years old but it is a gem of a camera for portraits and landscapes and I think they will clear them out in short order

Mark II what? Here we are again, many models named Mark II, which one? 5D, 1D, 1DS?

And what's wrong with 20MP full frame, are people still playing with a a short deck and only looking at how many pixels a camera has? I mean there are going to be P&S cameras with 20MP and maybe a camera phone. It's not the number but what quality.

Nikon D600 24MP which has a pixel pitch of 5.9 m (looks like a good size camera and good quality images, GPS optional)
Canon 6-D a pixel pitch of 6.55 microns (ISO 50? and GPS anyone?) Less noise.

20.2MP full frame? $2100 camera?
OR
24MP full frame? $2100 camera?

Both look pretty good.
