Interesting article from Canon on their latest release(s). That Canon Rebel T2i looks like a cheap entry into HD Video?
Any experts with knowledge of these new releases?

This looks good for a Rebel. The video specs are similar to the 7D.
1920 x 1080 (1080P, 16:9) @ 30/25/24 fps
1280 x 720 (720P, 16:9) @ 60/50 fps

We took a trip to the BIG city (San Antonio) today and I shopped in the Military Exchange. They had the T1i but not the T2. Technology seems slow to keep up there ... the computers are all still Dual Core Processors.
Anyway, I am (after more than 35 years of Nikon loyalty) considering the switch from Nikon to Canon. That $8000 price tag on the D3x was the final straw ... Maybe. Cry
