Just a week after Canon released their 120mp sensor they have a new fun announcement.  They have made the worlds largest (in physical size) sensor at ~20x20 cm which is 40x the size of a Canon 1Ds Mark III.  So the fun part is that it can capture 1/100th the amount of light compared to a regular DSLR.

I wonder if this is just Canon playing around or if they will ever make a medium format camera in the future?

Wow that's huge......I bet when you see the price tag you wouldn't say "Wow", but you'd shout "OH SH*T!" I bet it'll be above most income levels here....
