I've had a few hundred images with Can for a few years, and earned 2-3 bucks every month, pay out once or twice a year (at best). Middle of this month all the sudden $20 in sales. Anyone else see a sudden change at can?

I had two sales for $27 in one week. But I'm with them since march 2009. I think...

Yes, definitely those $20 fotosearch sales help the bottom line.  Canstock went from 1% of my earnings for years to 3% in April Smiley

I uploaded most of my pictures there (900+) during last two months, but so far, I've collected only a bunch of $0.30 subscription sales. Well, there are some sales at least.

Canstock is starting to do quite well for me right now!
Reached a very good payout this month!

Wow that sounded good, so I decided I wanted 'in'.  I signed up with CanStock and uploaded 20 images to test the waters.  2 weeks later, not a single view on any image.  Absolute zero.

Ok 20 images isn't much, but they're all proven sellers on SS.  And you can multiply zero by any number of images/weeks/months/years you want, and the result is still zero. Payout at infinity.

Guess I'll just delete them and close the account.  Move along, folks. Nothing to see here.

I wish I had a dime for every complaint that someone's 'proven seller' was rejected by or wasn't selling at agency x.
To me a 'proven seller' at SS means 100+ sales per month - anything less makes the image an average seller, not a proven one.

Forget sales.  I didn't even get 1 view, on any of the 20, in 2 weeks.

I wonder if this is just another example of a trend I think I'm seeing everywhere - new images go nowhere.

Canstock is very, VERY weak for me. I Uploaded about 400 images (my bestsellers included) a couple of months ago, and have made a whopping $3.15... I make 10 times more at bigstock with similiar portfolio, and about 100 times as much at iStock (I have a 1200 image portfolio there, but I also divided the number by 3 for comparison).

I'm guessing you are a young person? And that's why you have no patience and want instant results? Wink

When I made the post, I didn't take the time to look at where the extra sales were from, it was one $20.00 dollar sale. Other than that one big (relatively speaking) sale, Can stock is a total dud.
