Title: Canstockphoto.com Site Weird Behaviour
Post by: Vlad on February 06, 2017, 00:00
For the last couple of weeks I had problems accessing the Canstockphoto.com site. I noticed they switched from a secure web address, with an 's' after http to a non secure one. After changing all my bookmarks by eliminating the 's' I managed to access and log into my account. The absence of the 's' means the site is no longer using a secure connection. Did they do that on purpose or the site has been hacked? Am I the only one having this issues or trying to access the site as nobody else complained for a long time?

They used to be a nice stable site not any more for some reason. Sales still glacial though

Hello! Just got an answer to my support ticket:

Thanks for checking with us. We definitely have not been hacked :)

We did however have a glitch over the weekend which resulted in some pages sending people in an infinite loop. That was fixed on Monday. However, some browsers "cache" this behaviour, so if it is still happening I would recommend you clear your cache or switch browsers.

We only use https on pages which have sensitive information - such as a login, purchase, or account info page. Regular pages do not use https at this time.

On short: everything is fine! :)
