The following was posted on Canstock by Admin Duncan today ;D:

I'm excited to announce that we have raised the photographer commissions on subscription purchases:

Small, medium, Large Images: $0.25 / download
Extra Large Images: $0.30 / download

Subscription purchases make up a large portion of our overall sales, so this increase will be directly responsible for putting more money in our photographer's pockets.

We have some exciting upgrades, promotions, and little goodies up our sleeves - so expect more news and upgrades over the next several months. Our site sales have been strongly increasing, and Im confident you will all continue to see more traffic growth over the coming months.

Also, it is worth noting that we have modified the prices for our "High Volume" subscriptions. Anyone with an existing subscription need-not worry - it will not be affected. You will receive an email notice if your billing terms are to be modified.

Onwards and upwards!

Duncan

For me, what would be even better news is if Canstock increased the number of downloads I get. A 20% increase of almost nothing is still almost nothing.

Anyone noticed "increased sales"?  It's dead for me, no sales in October at all and none so far this month either.

Wow, it's been quiet on the forums recently! Kind of ironic, as we've had such great sales this week - maybe it got everyone out taking pictures and buying?

Either way, it's that time of year again - time for another tease!

We're working on our next batch of site upgrades, which I'm hoping to launch in the next month or two.

Anyone who has been around here for a while knows that our upgrades never disappoint. Last year it was the new upload system, and then came Stock Sensation. At the start of this year we launched or new site - that was a big one. Then we added extended licensing and some more site goodies.

Our new upgrades will benefit photographers and buyers. Buyers will see several time saving features added and photographers will get some novel new features/upgrades. Also, were going to add some cool features that will keep you spying on your friends or competition! Also, all of these new features will be completely unique to CanStock!

With any luck, these upgrades may be timed with our next major server upgrade. We will be adding several terabytes to our file server, an additional load-balanced web server for performance, and a complete mirrored backup in Halifax (the site is hosted in Vancouver). *whew!*

Stay tuned for updates! Good luck guessing

Not an earthshattering an amount, but overall I've had more sales since the beginning of October than I had for the five months preceding that.  At least there's some increase in movement now.

I guess I'll never be lucky with this site.  :(
