Hi. I wonder if anyone has any anecdotal info on how well the multi-use license does in sales versus the one-time license? No need for numbers if you don't want to share. I just wondered how it compares. In other words, which price point the buyers find more appealing in your observation.

I'd say that between 1/3 and 1/2 of my monthly earnings come from multi-use sales. Didn't have any EL sales though.

Id say about 1/15 or so of mine are MU.  Never had a big one though.

For the past two months I have been getting one every 30-40 sales - not too often but they do make a difference in the bottom line.  Never had an EL.

Thanks so much for the replies. This will help me set my expectations accordingly. A multi-use sale would be better for the bottomline, but it looks like I can't count on seeing many of those. Which means it comes down to volume.

Just curious, how are your sales at Canva? My July was worst month in two years, really bad. August isn't looking any better, multi-use sales gone. I wonder if it has anything to do with them merging with Getty...

Have you checked your portfolio?  They have a nasty habit of retrospectively rejecting content.

I have now, looks like most of my images are still there. There have only been one instance when I cliked on sale link and said that image is not avaliable any more, so I don't think that's the reason.

Not sure what you are referring to. I wasn't aware of any deal between Canva and Getty - do you have a link to a press release or story?

The only recent article I found was about an integration with Dropbox which is unlikely to have much of an impact on sales

Canva has incorporated the Getty library into their portal, not a merger. They sent an email to contributors:

in part...
To help jump-start this process, were working with Getty Images wholl provide their content from iStock. For those of you who already have images in iStock, dont worry. Were ensuring all Canva images are prioritised.

Keeping a close eye on my earnings to see how they affect my sales.

Thanks - as they chucked me out a couple of years back I didn't get that email :)

Not sure how that could possibly be good news for direct contributors to Canva...

Yes, I know it is the season, but July and Aug sales have been a lot less than usual, and virtually no multiseats now.

No info about how they are 'working with' Getty given that any isolations sent to CV are directed to the outer darkness, and Getty has a CV which means anything specific may or may not be found, depending how you sent the images up and whether words not in the CV completed the journey.....

So far this month, I have 8 multi-use sales and 100 single sales. Most are backgrounds.

canva and fotolia consistently each provide about 15-20% of sales each month, (with SS at 40-50%), so they're solid #2 & 3 for me
