Hopefully people from Canva still follow this forum.

So, people from Canva, I know that getting buyers / customers and making them happy is your priority, and you do that very well, but you should consider implementing something minor for the contributors as well. You should put the thumbnails on the sales page instead of the textual links so that we, especially we with many sales, can track and see what sells and what sells the best.

This can influence our decision what to upload further and this can get us more sales in the future. Even without that, I think this feature is not much to ask, it should be easy to implement it, and easy tracking of your sales is only normal. Right now it's too time consuming and difficult.

thanks for reading, and hopefully you will implement this.

Anywhere the priority is buyers pages. Why they should care to do enhancements for contributors of crowdsourced sites? Contributors always come even to sites with absolutely horrible interfaces.

I didn't asked for the sales stats, graphs and other stuff. I just asked for something very simple.

They already have the sales page with the textual links. Replacing textual links with image links - thumbnails should be very easy to do, and it would mean a lot for us.

You mean so you can see what sold without having to click on the link?  That should be easy I would think.  What would be even better would be to be able to see numbers of sales per image but that is probably more effort than they want to put in.   I assume as long as they have enough contributors then upgrading the seller interface will remain a low priority, and I don't see that changing as long as their sales remain strong.

Yes, I mean on that. It's really easy for them to implement (just editing existing code a little), and it would really mean a lot for us.

You prefer endless clicking on the textual links to see what got sold?

Or you remember ids of all your images?

There is a script, made by Sean Locke, which gives you thubmnails shown beside images sold. Ask him if he'll give it 2 you. Or search the forum for it, there is a link to the script somewhere in this forum.

Many thanks Dumc! And thanks to Sean Locke for the script.

here is the script: www.seanlockephotography.com/scripts/CV_showThumbnail.user.js

For everybody who don't already know this, you need to install Greasemonkey in the browser, and then visit this link and click install.

I do neither. I am using my own scripts to read info I want.

I vote for Canva to hire Sean to do some contributor-centric programming!

Doing some basic scripting is a lot easier than one might think. There's plenty of solutions already posted online and it's just a matter of adjusting them to your needs. A lot easier than becoming a good photographer anyway. I am not a coder or god forbid programmer by a mile, let alone do it professionally, but I don't depend on developers' whims. I mean, we don't call licensed electricians every time we need to change a bulb, do we?
