Just wondering what the norm is for Crestock these days. We got one that took a month from request to recieving our payout.

I just received a combined payout (for two outstanding requests) from them today.  The oldest request was from 7-09-09, so about 5 weeks to get it.

It's taking forever.  I have two payouts pending now, since last week - one is well over a month old.  I did contact support, but so far no response.  Very strange, because it was never like this - they've always been reasonably prompt with payouts.

There's something radically wrong over there.  Reviews have stalled, to the point that they just put up a notice giving a review time of up to four weeks.  I have images in the queue that long, and have no idea when or if they'll get processed.

As an aside, the first indication that Albumo was a ghost town was when images I uploaded sat in the queue for months, with no way to remove them.  Not that I'm expecting that fate for Crestock, especially as I'm a dollar away from a payout, but it's certainly not a positive sign.

Really?  I have always had to wait a long time to get paid by them.  I have one pending since Sept. 7 and just requested another.

Last payout I received was on August 18th for two requests dated July 9 and Aug 11.

If I had only requested the one from the 11th I would have thought it was a fast payout, but the one from July 9 was almost 6 weeks in coming.

I read this in their forum.  I hate leaving sites but with the $0.25 subs and this, I can't see much point staying.  Do they payout when you leave or do they keep the money?

Hi all, we are very conscious that this is a concern for many.
Due to necessary organisational changes there will unfortunately be significant delays both to image inspections and payout request processing in the coming month. We apologise in advance for the inconvenience and disappointment this inevitably causes.
This has been caused by unforeseen events beyond our control, so we ask for everybody's understanding while we get things returned to normal.
Thanks for your patience in the meantime.

Interesting.  Thanks for posting Sharpshot.  Sounds like either they are closing shop or possibly being bought out.

The good news is that they just reviewed the 150 pictures I submitted this month, ten for every sale.  The bad but not surprising news is that they rejected every last one of them.

I got the same response from support:

I smell a buyout or something...something is definitely going down.  But seriously, how hard is it to send a paypal payment?  They already made the money.  All we get is a small percentage of it.  It never ceases to amaze me how we have to hemm and haww to get our small commissions from a lot of these microstock sites.  What a business setup.  I just want the $110 I'm owed from the last two months.  That is pocket change; it's not like I'm asking them for 10 grand.  I guess with all contributors combined, it's a lot larger.  But (back to what I originally said) they should already have the money.  Customer bought the images, they have received the payment, all we need is our small cut.

I requested a payment at a newer micro site last night - I was paid within 20 minutes.  If only all micros were on the ball like that.  Ok, I'm done ranting.
