yeah, sounds great.  I have dreamed recently, about buying a medium format film camera.  I haven't gotten around to it yet though.  It would be pretty easy to develop the film in the bathroom with a light bag and then scan the negatives if I couldn't find somewhere where I could print them..... hmm... makes me dream.

Slightly off-topic but still related : HOW SAFE IS EBAY? ARE THEY CHEAPER say THAN THE USED CAMERA STORES in Toronto,etc.. (I'm from Canada)...
I am looking for Pentax prime lenses. But not sure if I trust dealing on Ebay. What if the lenses arrived damaged , or in bad condition? How do you protect yourself from this?

leaf, when i was starting out in photography  early 80's  (i'm ageing myself, ha!ha)..
i used to develop my 21/4 in one of those daylight tanks.http://www.shopping.com/-developing+tank no need for bathroom. And after dark, I printed in my closet (honest, no joke)...
.  all the wee hours of the morning just printing with my Omega . you can do the same. used to have a rolleiflex SLX (in fact, you can see me in the Donald Sutherland movie THRESHOLD , if you can find that old movie on DVD,  http://www.amazon.com/Threshold-Donald-Sutherland/dp/B000006GEI

me with my SLX at the end of the movie. i am the press photographer there. old days good days good memories ! long time ago when the dinosaurs roamed Ottawa ha!ha!, and me a  young boy just starting out in photography ha!ha!).

yeah, i have used a developing tank like that... or that is all I have ever used actually.  The bathroom was for the water source Smiley

I am not sure I want to be stuck in a closet to develop photos but I suppose it could work Smiley

I was lucky enough that my class at university was the last ones to go through before digital took over so everything we did was on film.  We developed in those tanks, but our dark room was nice a big so I have been spoiled by that!
