It isn't just CC, I find nothing happening on GL or PD either.    But the same photos sell every now and then, month after month, on SS and DT.   I guess it's all about the ratio of buyers to images.  On the small sites there are a lot fewer contributors and images, but also a lot fewer buyers, and apparently the new sites take on lots of contributors before they have lots of buyers.  So the paradox is that the small sites aren't good places for the small contributors, unless you're lucky enough to have your photos fill a niche for one of the buyers.   I had no sales on CC for so long that I quit checking and actually forgot they were there (!) which is not a good thing.

At some point, some of these small sites should start profiting from the decline of IS - which is only accelerating...

I joined last March and so far I only have a small portfolio of 146 images.  Checked in tonight and found that I'd sold my first image today - XL for 6 credits giving me $2.76.  I hope this is the start of the new push for 2012.  I'm working on building my portfolio across multiple sites this year.  As long as the upload is relatively easy and terms are fair I'll give them through this year before I reconsider.

Just been uploading my portfolio recently, too early to tell with sales, but have been pleasantly surprised with how helpful the staff are (John in particular).  Hope that bodes well for future dealings...and sales...

Very nice support. I really like their watermark. Got 293 files. Stopped uploading many months ago. No sales as of yet. I might start again sometime.

Since September last year, I have sold at least one image each month.  The prices are quite low but it's nice to see something happening.  I stopped uploading for about a year but have started again and the site seems to of improved a lot.  It's great to get emails from the site owner when I have questions, John really is a nice change to some of the other site owners.  I'll upload all my new stuff now but I'm not doing much for microstock at the moment, I'm concentrating on alamy and other projects.

I can tell you from first-hand knowledge, John really works at it.  Just had an email coordinating a large sale with a customer.  This is why I work through an agent.  I'm not a salesman.   Embarrassed

Good Luck, John.

if I had a sale per month I would not have said here that they were dead (had 2 for 2 years) which lead to an email from John, wasn´t that nice "no longer wanna pursue business with you.."

When is payout day for Cutcaster?

Request when you want when you reach $20, from what I remember. I did get a payout once a while back.

I joined last March and only have a small portfolio there so far so I didn't expect much yet but I'm starting to see activity this year. Got a nice sale in late January and another just a few weeks later.  Just two so far now but I was encouraged to see them coming close together.  40% commission on nice credit sales too - RPD average stands at $2.30 now - hoping to see sales start increasing more this year.

No sales since June 2011. My first sale 2 years ago was for $25. The other 3 sales total less than $5 altogether.
