uploads.cutcaster.com
Your user name
Your password

Be sure to set your ftp to ACTIVE, instead of passive.

Do you know that by using the same user name and password for ftp as for main site access you make it much simpler to steal credentials?

After seing some sales eventually, I decided to resume uploading to CC

but my uploaded files are in Cutcaster's FTP folder since Feb, 26th and nothing happens...
not being imported after clicking on "Process my FTP uploads" and waiting for hours

Same here.
I uploaded with Stocksubmitter, so I thought that was the reason. But obviously the bug is at Cutcaster then  Undecided

Can not speak on John's behalf, but I communicated the problem to him end last week and he has been working full out on it since then. He will let us know when it is running again (I will also give you a heads up here unless he beats me to it).

Can people who had issues try again? It should be fixed and the files will appear in your account.

What do you mean exactly? Reupload the files or reprocess them? When I leave the page now and come back, it says it is still processing them. Same when I quit my browser and come back.

All seem to be working fine now. I had to delete my old uploads and re-upload, but I think everyone should try to process theirs first, as mine could have had an isolated issue. If that does not work, re-upload and you should be fine then.

PS John promised us a progress bar for the FTP processing  Wink (go John go...!)

I have just uploaded another 100 without problem. Think it is your uploader (just also check, there is a new FTP name - uploads.cutcaster.com)

For me, FTP is working fine now. Smiley

But I have 2 short questions:

Well, I know it sounds lazy, but do I really have to click on every single image in the “Edit and Submit Files” menu at cutcaster? On average I need more than one click per image to get my images pending.  I still have a couple of thousands images to upload and I don’t think that I want to click them all….. Smiley
I also have a second question: is there a way to set another standard price (so that I don’t have to change the price every time)Huh  Huh

thanks a lot  Smiley

The submit all button is on the way, but as long as you have a title, description, and keywords and you click the save and submit button on the bottom, all images will move to pending.

I will check on the price questions.

Images that are uploaded by (with? how do I write this? Cheesy) FTP are still 'processing' but you can see them in 'edit and submit files'. And they are ready to submit! Smiley
Wow, you review images really fast Cheesy But I have a question, where I can find rejected images?

Ariene, can help you on the "processing" part of your question: At this stage it does not state when it is finished (so it is a static message). This will now be resolved with the progress bar John has promised (then you can see when it is finished).
On the second part, I also do not know of any place where you can view the rejected images.

Fixed the processing button issue. Will replace that text with a progress bar soon too. The FTP should be working fine now and we will roll out additional support for as many FTP clients as we can.

Not exactly. First you have to tick each file individually - which is the boring part. After that, you can click the save and submit button; it's 11 clicks instead of just one, or about 1000% more clicks than necessary.

TO ALL SITES, NOT JUST CC: sorry but I am continuing my battle for streamlined processes: the only hope for minor sites in my opinion, since we cannot afford to spend more time than necessary on 20+ sites. We are photographers, not bots. The only button I want to click is the shutter button.

Yes, a "check all“ button would be great.  Smiley
This is exactly what I am looking for.  Checking ALL images with ONE click.
