I'm editing these photos I just uploaded to Cutcaster....I'm putting the starting price as 2.50 on non people pictures and 5.00 on the people shots....Does that sound right??   let me know if I need to do it differently..
Thanks to all  Shocked

Are they exclusive to CutCaster?  I usually let the CutCaster algorithm do the initial pricing.  I've changed a few that I didn't like.  Yours do sound a bit underpriced ... if they are exclusive.

Nope these aren't exclusive...they sell on other sites...this is the first time I've ever put photo's on a pick your price site so I don't really know what is a good starting price...
if you let them pick the price, what do they usually start out at??

my last batch of non-exclusive images was between $10 - $14.

Remember ... buyers can offer less.

On Cutcaster as well as on Zymmetrical, I let them set the price. You have to trust these agents have contacts in the industry and they know what the market can take. It's their expertise. Just let them do their job. I don't think it's wise that a contributor will start price competition, especially on the low levels you mention.

Thanks ...hopefully I can go back under the pending file and reedit these. So far I've only got 17 uploaded and edited...I've got 15 more waiting to be edited and getting ready to upload another 15...I guess after they get approved ...if they do Wink...then I can go change to let them do the pricing also...

Thanks again.. Grin

You can move the pending items back to the submit area.  Check the box below each item then look at the bottom of the page.  It says something like "move checked items to submit."

Once there, you can change the pricing choice.

Yeah I just figured that one out...went to do it and 10 of the pictures already had made it through to approved...I thought they had disappeared, but went on another computor and found them under my studio and went and editied the pricing there...it still shows the 2.50 price on them though...so maybe that is a good starting price...we'll see...just hope they sell.. Wink
Thanks for the help

I think prices are trending up.  Maybe $10 per image is a starting point.
