Hello there
I live in France, France and the United States reached an agreement to levy a 0% tax.
Every stock company accepted the same tax form that I submitted

Depositphotos constantly reject it? And deduct my 30% income

For more than a month, I did all the things they wanted me to do.
Has anyone encountered the same thing?

Maybe try their live chat or contact form: https://depositphotos.com/contact_us.html

It could be something they don't understand on the form.  :-X

For more than a month, I did everything I should do.

Depositphotos deducting 30% of the income (I question, they simply ignore me),

Photos sold every day are deducted by 30%, and I can't ask for money because they keep rejecting my tax form. In fact, no stock agent refused my tax form.

depositphotos are dirty, I have to tell everyone about my experience and let everyone know

Is it not enough for more than one month of contact?

The same happened to me and I contacted them via live chat and they fixed my tax form. They were requesting a very special number in my national taxpayer info that any other agency needed before lol

Deposit!!!!! One word - Run!!!!!!

I mean it. One of the most unserious business is this branch. We had some serious business going on with them, and was part of their Enterprise pack. Cool communication and stuff - Right until we questioned their new pricing plan. They totally ignored our emails and phone calls for one month. Then over night we deleted our complete portfolio. Guess who called us the next day!

So pathetic!

Advice from a pro stock company   :)

Are sales good there? I have almost my same portfolio and not a lot of sales. Considering no uploading more but it's pretty easy tho. I love their interface

Aha ;D ;D

Well I don't think Deposit works like that! High quality, like in REALLY high can sell (because they have so much crap), but still they are really not trust worthy.

I wouldn't waste my time on them! There are so many agencies out there that will give a better revenue, and actually "respect" the work.

Alamy, Adobe, Shutterstock, Creative Market and Stocksy to mention a few.

Is it the devil?
Check out earlier threads on this DP forum, and decide for yourself.

They have been kinda shady from the get-go. See earlier threads on this forum. If you decide to do business with them, dont be surprised at anything that happens.

Depositphotos may be scum, but the tax form issue should be easy to fix. Probably an error on your form or a misunderstanding?

You still didn't tell us why they rejected it, or how they replied to your questions. Perhaps you could show us your tax form?

Thanks for all replies. Now I have time to explain in details my experience.

About one month ago, DP asked me to fill tax form. I completed it the same way like other agencies . After few days, they rejected it without explanation in asking me to contact them.

I did it and they told me to complete with the correct number. After I've checked my number was correct I resubmitted. Few days after, they rejected again.

I asked them why? They want to check my ID card. I submitted it. And nothing happened, still in review during 1 week. Asked them why so slow, they told it will take 10 - 14 days.
14 days after, they rejected again.
So I contact them to understand why again!

They ask me for 13 digits France number.
I've found which number it was : France login-id number to pay tax online.

I completed with this number and as DP asked me I've checked "I don't have SSN or ITIN" ( but I have ITIN, and every stock agencies accepted it)

After that, they rejected once again my tax form. Asked why and reply because I haven't type with CAPITAL Letters the name of my state. I modified it, resubmitted and told me they need to double checked my form. Now it's still in review and I can't request my money until now.

I've more than 35000 photos on Depositphotos and I was faithful to them.

The point is they are dishonest in deliberately take times to review, reject my form. During more than 1 month, they rejected my tax form and took me 30%. I've asked them to refund me 4 times, and they ignored me.

If they want to make a durable business, they need to know they are nothing without credibility.

Hope Depositphotos will do something positive for stock industry.

A month ago I became sick and tired of Depositphotos. So I deleted my portfolio and because of GDPR I ask them to close my account immediately. I also left Dreamstime as they are accepting also trash (underexposed, overexposed, wrong white balance, out of focus etc).
