This is a warning to everyone whose images were finally removed from DP's partner sites.  Mine were, I verified, and now they are back with DP's file number system so I know FACTUALLY the images are coming from them.

Mine were gone yesterday and now they're back as well.

Oh I am sure it's a "technical glitch" and will be "repaired" soon. I sent them an email to see what they say, out of morbid curiosity.

I did too, replying to the email string I have where they verified that they were removed. 1.30 or so left to make, then I'm gone.

Deactivate and run. Seems to be the only way to deal with DP  >:(

Thugs. Vicky keeps telling me my images are not available on shotshop, and that it is impossible to buy the image.

They are a bunch of lying thieves and I am going to talk to a solicitor about this.

And what was her excuse?

That they were never available for sale, but they were. I made it through to checkout like Ron did. Now they're gone again, thanks for the heads up!

That sucks. What a bunch of flipping crooks over there.  They will continue to do this just for the revenue and hope contributors don't find out. They are certainly living up to their reputation.

A dollar thirty to go for me. If they don't kick me out for complaining, but then they'd have to send me my balance. :)

Can someone fill me in on the issue with this site? I found a few images of mine up there and assume they are a partner or something?

You can read the (long) thread with the details - Deposit Photos partnered with Shotshop. Contributors got a subscription sale royalty on high price credit sales of their images. Lots of foot dragging, excuses and nonsense to get images removed and now they're back again.

Me too! My images are online @ShotShop via Depositphotos again.

Seems like DP is a scammer!

But they pay for uploaded images?  ;D People say: "money is money"... ;)

Irony mode off.

I asked for removal 3 weeks ago but they still haven't been removed. How long does it usually take?

Here is an answer, you might see the thumbnails, but the images cant be bought. Shocking answer from DP as this means Shotshop takes your money but you wont get the image.

Quote
Shotshop can accept your payment, but you will not receive the image.
Your images were removed from all our API websites and I sent you a confirmation by email. You could only see the previews since we were working on our search filters. However, it was not possible to purchase your files there since your files uploaded directly to our website are available for sale only on our website.

Do you still see your images in their search?

The part that I highlighted is in the past tense, which implies that they were visible but are no longer visible.

I got the exact same response but all of my images continue to be visible on Shotshop.

The image is visible, I can take it through the payment flow, but apparently I wont get the full res image.

Haha, "Shotshop can accept your payment". Very funny.

I received the same reply from Vicky:
"You could only see the previews since we were working on our search filters. However, it was not possible to purchase your files there since your files uploaded directly to our website are available for sale only on our website."

Why are they still visible then...? Working on their search filters, what's that even supposed to mean? The (preview) images are either stored in the database, or they're not, what does that have to do with search filters?
