I naively thought that just stopping to upload would send enough of a message to them. Apparently, not so:

I checked today and there it is again, my whole DP portfolio on Shotshop!!!  :o :o :o What do they think? (if at all)  :o :o :o

Guess, I am forced to escalate: I am going to deactivate all my images and cash out. (At least I am over the $50 limit, now).

WARNING EVERYONE.  ALL OF MY IMAGES ARE BACK ON SHOTSHOP. They were originally removed and now that are indeed back.  I can't imagine that DP has any reasonable excuse for this.

I need to change my answer. I've re-activated my images in order to hit payout. So my portfolio is now live there again. They told me I wouldn't be included in partner programs. But I only need a few dollars more...

I got my answer from Vicky. No excuse at all, just denial:

"There is no way to purchase your portfolio on other websites. We have removed it from all our API partners."

But they were quick to remove my port from their API partners again. Still, this is not acceptable. I'll deactivate my port and be gone...

Have you actually tried buying the image? If you did, then she would indeed be lying. If not, try to see if that works. (Although that would mean you'd have to give them money, so I'd understand it if you don't want to try ;))

:( 1. Uploading no new stuff.
 8) 2. Re-activate images to reach the payout limit.
 >:( 3. After payout deactivate all images again.
:o 4. But keep the account open to have an eye on this scammers.
;) 5. Do my best to make this DP scamming practice public to other contributors.

Nothing. Still uploading like before. I respect people's decisions to pull out. For me, don't think shotshop gets enough sales to get in a twist over.

For me its not about how much they sell, its about their intentions, and it shows they cant be trusted.

I told you in another thread that we sued Shotshop.
We did!!

Last week we had our date at the court in munich.
The trial is still open and we have been requested by the judge to bring in more informations.
It seems , so our lawyer who is a specialist (the judge too) in copyright-law, that this case opens up very severe questions which might impact the whole business in at least germany regarding the business-relation between agencys and their "partners".

If we loose in this level of jurisdiction we will have two levels more (which is not much) and then we will be at the BGH - the highest level.  8)

Wish us some luck and remember David and the 5th of November ;-)

regards axel

Why wouldn't DP be a part of this suit?
