Your vote, please :)

(If there are some options I did not cover, just write them down. Maybe the admin can add them in later)

Hi Spike,

I was waiting for someone to do this survey.  For me I stopped uploading. But that probably isn't the end for me. I intend to deactivate all but one image in the not too distant future. They are going to lose my 3,000 images, I just don't know when.

I have partially deactivated (over one-third of my content up to this time) and also stopped uploading new content.  Don't know where to fit this on the survey ..

Contacted them to opt me out of partnership programs. Will wait and see before resuming uploads.

My action is not listed in the poll. I deactivated all images, but one. Keeping my account open as I dont trust them. Many people reported earnings and images being for sale after the closed their account. DepositPhotos is a very very shady agency and needs to be monitored closely.

Emailed them... Asked to remove my files from 3rd hand sites. Waiting to reach my $50 (yeah, still waiting with $3, from 3 weeks, weird). After that I'll deactivate all files from DP gallery and what Ron says - watching them carefully...

We can say, they lost my 1k files, and no coming back. No way!

There ARE better places (and ways) to earn money, not losing...

Deactivated most of my files and will terminate my account when I reach $50.00.

The problem is- it's impossible to deactivate an account. I wrote at least 4 messages to get my account closed, but it's still active :( And even the pictures are just deactivated, not deleted  >:(

Like others, 1 image left to keep it open til I someday reach payout (only need a couple bucks). Once I get that, I'm done for good with them.

I've sent a complaint plus the demand to remove my images from all partner sites and API resellers.

have they replied properly to anyone?

Elena Flanagan is always very excited about DP, they even received the MEXPO award but this stuff needs to be sorted out, less excitement and more honesty Elena, can you do that?

I will give them a (last) chance
Let's see how it goes for other few months

I have got very imprecise (vague) answers from them, and have to ask more times to opt out from their pp  because they turn a deaf ear to answer to the real question

Now I class them in the "very incorrect people" category, in second position after Yaymicro

My photos had still not been removed from Shotshop yesterday.  I swayed between staying and leaving for a month, but with the latest posts about DP I finally deactivated everything but a tombstone.  Don't know if they finally removed me from partners, or if my deactivation was what did it - but today I can find my thumbs at SSP, but they do not come up for purchase.

Relief.

I have to give them credit when it is due.  I requested my final payment on the 26th and it was in paypal on the 27th.  I was honestly a little worried that with so many people closing their accounts there may be trouble.

Finally made payout yesterday, asked for it today and then had a deactivation clickfest. Now all but three non-sellers deactivated and good riddance!

I have completely stopped uploading any new material and have also deactivated every image which is not tied in with their one year 'no-deactivate' deal they persuaded me to enter into. Under that particular Promotional Program they pay me a small dollar value commission to upload new images however I cannot deactivate them for twelve months once they're accepted in their library and I've got the cash :)

Fortunately there are less than 100 images tied up in this deal, so I'll just enjoy the payouts for a little while.

Roll on November/December 2014 and all those remaining images but one will be all gone too :)
