You should GTFO of Dissolve.  They don't respect contributors.  I and many others got out a few years ago.
Why? Its my third best agency for income, almost tied on second place with P5. YMMV. The people that work there are actually very friendly. You sound quite bitter.

Just got a mail from Dissolve-  that since my clips are solf for $49 on other sites (they obviously point to VB)
they are adjusting the prices on my HD versions to match the same price.

I wrote to them that the $49 price reflects a price for subscribers who pay a monthly fee.
Without that fee the price is the same ($79)

am i missing something or are they wrong??


Just get out of Dissolve.  It's not worth doing business with them.  They treat creators like POS.

A year and a half later - here is a mail I just sent dissolve:

Hello.

On April 2017 you contacted me regarding pricing of my HD footage on your site.
You informed me that since I am selling my clips on VideoBlocks (now StoryBlocks) for $49 -
the pricing on your site will be lowered to match thier price - and indeed that's what happned.

As of This month - the pricing for HD clips on StoryBlocks will rise to a price of $79 for HD videos.

I wanted to make sure you are aware of that - and that you will match my prices back to their original levels.


What do you think will be the response??

A year and a half later - here is a mail I just sent dissolve:

Hello.

On April 2017 you contacted me regarding pricing of my HD footage on your site.
You informed me that since I am selling my clips on VideoBlocks (now StoryBlocks) for $49 -
the pricing on your site will be lowered to match thier price - and indeed that's what happned.

As of This month - the pricing for HD clips on StoryBlocks will rise to a price of $79 for HD videos.

I wanted to make sure you are aware of that - and that you will match my prices back to their original levels.


What do you think will be the response??

Get back to us when they do (kind of) go up to $79 in October?

There is absolutely no reason they shouldn't return to $79.  It should be blanket, and no questions asked.
