Has everyone checked out the new Dreamstime/ Facebook application.  It is pretty nice, it will automatically post your recent images that have sold, new images, blogs, etc.  Its a great little feature for facebook users.

I just wish it would post to fan pages. I have a fan page for all of my image work that is relatively separate from my regular account.

You might bring that up in the forum they have about it.  I don't know anything about the programing, but that might be an easy option.

I posted about it there but they didn't seem to know what a fan page was. They asked me for more clarification. I need to get back to the DT site to see if there was response but I'm on vaca and computer access is limited.

I saw your post there and also do not know what a Fan Page is?  Was hoping to see more about the possibilities.  I'm really knew (ignorant) about FB possibilities.  Where can I read more about a Fan Page?

A fan page, also known as a Facebook Page, is like a FB page for your business. You can post to the wall, use RSS to publish your blog, start discussions, post images and get feedback from your fans. The main difference is that there are no "friends". Instead of friends you get fans.

When you click "become a fan" then you will get updates when that person updates the page. For example when I post new images or that I'm looking for new models on my fan page then it shows up on the fans home page. However because they are not necessarily friends I do not get their postings on my personal FB home page.

For more info here is a link to Facebooks info page about them.

You can search for it on Facebook just like you would search for a friend. After you get 1,000 fans the site will let you have a custom name so that the link it easier to find.

A search for any well known actor or musician should bring up plenty of fan pages. If you want to check out mine it's under Azure LaRoux

Thank you, Thank you. Thank you!  That's exactly what I had envisioned when I signed on to Facebook.  I'll get to work on this right away ... or maybe tomorrow.   ;D
