Just so ya know... they don't accept the istock release (with the istock logo cropped off) anymore.

I have just submitted a stack of photos where I used the istock release.  I had cropped off the istock trademark and wording but that is not good enough - they still don't accept it :(

anyone know of a different model release that is accepted everywhere?

They accepted mine today.  I made my own release in Word (from Istock) and put my own logo on it, changed any reference to Calgary, etc.  There is a link to it somewhere in this forum.

I guess I should have said "The reveiwer I had today accepted mine"... it sucks that you'll have to ask the model to sign another release though.

I looked at the other thread and can tell you with all the iStock bits removed my latest model images were accepted with the fixed MR by all agencies accept DT.

i don't understand at all:
today a batch of 20 pictures with IS model release and logo cropped:
15 refused for not generic model release and the last 5 accepted with the same release, I'm going mad...

i am guessing the reviewer just didn't catch the release on the 5 images that were accepted.

Because the release says "alberta" on it, it becomes non-generic.

Thanks leaf, but I've already changed "province of Alberta, canada" by "the USA", so this release is absolutely generic now, they already accepted a batch of 20 pictures last week with the same model release...

I decided to be proactive and attached property releases for my dog on some images where the dog was not the main subject and pretty far away.
They were rejected because my PR did not include the phone number of the owner (me) but only address and e-mail.
They probably would have been accepted without PR in the first place...

Minor  and Adult in 1
Adult only
Both are also good as property release. When I travel, I don't like to drag around several blank release types.

These are direct doc download links. The document is European A4 and I guess the US legal is a bit smaller, so change the page margins a bit.
I wrote them myself 1,5 years ago. Accepted everywhere. The only problem I ever had (solved by link 1) was with SS that wants the minor and the parent on 1 single sheet.
