I am depressed !   

My sales drops suddenly this week.

I have 8-10 sales per day before this week, but now I have 1-2sales per day.

After seeking for the reason I found that has the possibility is the sales drop which the new search engine creates.

I did not know when the search system is upgrade.At present seeks for my picture through the search engine, they usually after 100 pages, but before, they usually in first 3 pages.

At present through the key word search picture, the rule which demonstrated is sorts according to under sales capacity how many. This is helpful in the buyer discovers the most popular picture but these picture overwhelming majority is the old picture.This rule was very difficult to find the new picture and new contributor.

The above is my analysis, possibly is the individual phenomenon.

Whether some people also do encounter this kind of situation? Hopes everybody discussion.

for me , these upgrade is very bad

I have 100 files up and have barely sold anything since starting in January with them - I do much better on other sites like SS and IS. I hope this change at DT might be a good thing and bring about some sales for those of us that have seen nothing so far. But as of today - still no improvements, still at $9 for weeks now.

For me it´s been dead for a long time, and are just lately picking up again.   Imagine if all of us had topplacings in search at the same time

This new search is good for me at the moment as I have a lot of level 4 and 5 images selling but in the long run I don't think that it is good as the default search in my opinion should be a relevancy mixture of new images and best sellers.

No complaints from me.  Looks to be BME at DT this month. 

Relevant titles and descriptions along with high acceptance rate are the best ways to boost visibility in the searches. 

Not to mention that the $ per sale has risen to over $1.50 this month.  I believe that is my highest for any micro site. 

It looks to me like the default search method is now by downloads decreasing. This means that if you have a lot of older files with large numbers of downloads you will be fine, if you have mostly newer files with less downloads you won't do as well. Unfortunately this is a positive feedback loop. I am close to a BME there though, as my older higher level images are doing well. I still think the default search should be most relevant, and it should really be most relevant (based solely on the image, not the contributors camera or acceptance ratio or country). At least DT returns the lowest number of completely off the wall and spammed images.

It does seem like they are shaking things up there, I hope it all turns out well when they are done.

agreed. my sales have dropped drastically and the new upload system is annoying and losing images I upload too

My previous BME record was smashed this month (22% increase), so no complaints here.  I'm seeing brand new images, old images that have never sold, and old favorites all selling in the past week, too. 

DT has always been bad for me so it wasn't hard to get the BME for me. I also did get some files lost.

I wondered why my sales at DT had tanked . . . now I know.
