25 %...

which suggests that a lot of the demand in the stock industry field comes from an occasional, per-credit buyer. I also think that these per-credit buyers won't change and become sub-buyers as it is a different kind of image consumer.

35% sub dl (20 of 58)
meager $ 0,12 RPI (monthly return per image in portfolio)
7,7% of microstock earnings in January (=position #5)

not impressing at all....

Thanks for the feedback.  It's as I thought  that even with subs the earnings per download aren't much different to most of the sites that don't do subs.

$.82 / image average at DT
based on my first 8 sales there ... 2 of those were sold for $ .30 each (sub sale)

Respectively here is how the distribution looked as I was keeping track:

 $.30   (2 dls)
 $.50   (3 dls)
 $1.00 (1 dls)
 $1.50 (1 dls)
 $2.00 (1 dls)

Also I got $5.00 that I'm not sure what it was for ... possibly the referral bounus or the editorial image thing ...

Subs are at 37% and increasing quickly. Oddly, January was the first month I started getting subs. Overall, my downloads are up but earnings are up and down. I'm not seeing a pattern of growth there.

I too have noticed an increase in subs sales, particularly in January.  The overall percentage is still small, but the trend appears to be climbing gently upwards.

I don't like subs at DT.  I accept that they add to sales and can push an image into a new level, but overall I suspect that they detract from normal credit sales.

BTW I have also noticed a slight increase in subs at StockXpert.

I haven't had enough sub sales in the past to pay much attention. That along with plenty of $1 and $2 sales have kept the average up there. For the last week, however, all sales have been subs or .50, with about 60% subs.

Anyone else seeing a jump in sub sales at DT?

I the last two weeks I am seeing a jump in sub sales. Shutterstock announced an increase in commissions due in May. Will be interesting to see the reaction of DT.
