Title: Scrambled file
Post by: Dreamframer on December 12, 2008, 08:05
Today I got the same rejection on DT for the same file. Rejection was:"We are sorry but due to the hardware problems we have experienced this image is scrambled and could not be salvaged. Please reupload it. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. "

This is the image

I hope "scrambled file" doesn't mean "these flowers are not made of clean straight lines". Does someone has the same experience? I never had such rejection, not once. And this time I had it two times for the same file

yeah,  I had once the same rejection.  around 80% of a really large batch was 'scrambled'.  I had to find out which one were and which once were not. Was a bit of a mess.

Second issue, they counted as 'rejected'.  I had to send an email to ask if they could erase them (acceptance ratio ;) ).  Eventually they did.

oops sorry.  I thought it was at SS.  Never had it with DT :)

I recently had one image at Dreamstime that got this rejection.  It was a photograph and not an illustration.  The thumbnail looked fine, but I guess it got corrupted during upload.  I thought about emailing support, because on Dreamstime the corrupted image also affects the approval ratio.  But since it was only one image I didn't bother.
