Last month I mentioned that I would run this poll, so, here it is, a little late... if you keep this kind of data, it would be interesting to see how our numbers average out.

If your numbers are much higher than 30%, please let us know.

My subs in Feb were down a little - 17.5% of individual image sales, in January they were about 21.5%.

I'm the lone one at >30%, but take it with a grain of salt.  It was 1 in 3, so 33.3%

are we voting for % of sales, or % of income

There I go, not being succinct enough again... I was thinking the percentage of individual sales not $.  If you have 100 individual sales and 13 of them were subs, that would be 13%.

This will likely be a close estimate, since DT only shows the most recent sale of that photo, when it may have sold a few times by the end of the day.

I set the poll so that you can edit your answers.

Also, I thought individual sales would be the best way to go because of the many factors:  different price levels, sizes etc. that are specific to each contributor, their popularity and their make of camera.

Needless to say nobody likes sub sales at certain sites... especially not  when the Return Per Download decreased to 0.67 $...

Assuming I calculated correctly, it appears 17% of my downloads are subscription.  But they are offset by the higher sales.  Total per sale average is $1.06

Do I have to look at each image to do this?

I just looked at the last 200 I could see, didn't worry about anything sold more than once.

That's pretty much my story for February, too.  20% sub sales offset by an EL and record credit sales.  My per sale average was $1.09.
