Hi,

In the near future i am planning buying a GoPro5, i never had a GoPro until now.
I was wondering, is good enough to take some simple stock videos also?

Yes, there are hundreds of thousands of GoPro clips selling (very well) at stock sites. It's the content that's important.

The 4k isn't all that good, or low light, but HD in decent light looks good. I'd go for the linear mode unless you're shooting 'gopro style stuff'... i.e. surfboards, mountain bikes, skydiving etc. Otherwise it will look a but weird with the fish eye look.
