Any comment or suggestion if using Lumix GX85 for 4k footage ? I saw on youtube the quality is quite good, I know sony a6500 is better than that but is over my budget. Thanks

Its fine but the Panasonic cameras really struggle in low light. Sony in that respect is better.

Grace, rest assured this is an amazing little camera for stock footage. I own it, as well as the GX80.

The point about low light is valid but at the end of the day, don't try and specialise in footage that needs to be shot in the dark! That said, there are workarounds and footage is usable with pretty high ISO's.

In my opinion there isn't another camera with these specs and ability for anything like the money.

Happy shooting.

Grace. The quality is down to the LENS, not necessarily the focal length. The kit lens, 12-32mm is excellent, in my opinion in, across all values. Here in the UK video time is limited to 30 minutes but is unlimited in US.
PS: Other than the lower light capabilities of Sony cameras, I consider panasonic to be FAR superior in image quality.
