Featurepics has been completely dead for me for over 2 weeks. Jul-Aug had started to pick up and I had some hope for great things, then - nothing.

Sales have been slow for me too. THe past months they have been like CanStockPhoto, which is not good, but overall I made more with them than at CanStockPhoto, and I had one pay-out already.

How do you price your images? I have them at $4 with resizing and I have pretty much ZERO sales.
I have about 200 pictures on FP for almost a year and I made $2.34.

I am considering removal of my images.

I've never had much luck at FP.  Been there almost two years now and still haven't reached a payout.  I quit uploading to them after going through a seven month drought with only one lousy sale.

I still haven't reached my first payout there either but I did get 3 downloads with them last month and with the higher commission, they made more than lucky oliver.

Some people seem to do well reasonably with them and I am sure they are sending people to the site.  If I had the time, I would do a website with lots of links but unfortunately I am too busy feeding all the other sites.

I price them according to the size, so that they are about 0.99 for the minimum size, so most are between US$2.50 and 4.00.  The medium and original sizes sell more.

I had one EL sale there too, which helped me reach my payout.

I stopped uploading there in case who I have the idea to cancel my files there. But I was uploading there during summer  because it was easy and quick. But I feeled that I was never going to reach a payment and now I still don't know what to do.

But there is a thing I found annoying. I heard about everyday about new
microstock agencies. There's 15 to 20 of these now and it still growing. If there's a hundred downloads a day in this category of sites, all these downloads are divided by this 15 to 20.

What is the future of contributers. Uploading to 25 or more agencies to reach the downloads? My dream is all these agencies merge themselves in two or three more bigger sites. Even bigstock (don't know what it do in the big six, on my point of view) and the up and coming category.

I think (my opinion) it's going to be much more easier for everybody to have all the creations and downloads in one big agency category. Yes this is my dream (just a dream I know)!

I hope they don't all merge because they will then have more power and will be able to pay us less commission.  Each site seems to attract different customers.  I am avoiding the really small ones that don't look like they will be around in a few years.

I'm amazed FP are still in existence, I've yet to hear of anybody who has made any real money with them.

Shame like a lot of other sites they have a nice layout and friendly people, but at the end of the day we put our images on these sites for selling.

thanks to two $25 sales I had my first payout last month... aside from those I get a slow/steady 1-2 per month.
