In 2016, Fotolia was paying relatively decently, with no sales under 33 cents.  All of a sudden, this week I have had several photos with sales at 23 and 24 cents.

Does anybody know what's going on?

Check your tax form status. It's likely expired based on what you have described so your sales may be subject to maximum withholding.

Tax form is OK but there were numerous 0.23, 0.27 and 0.30 downloads recently.

Ditto.  My tax forms are fine.  Nothing has changed and FT days they are ok but getting the 23 and 27 cent sales,

Mat,  thanks for the quick response.  I checked my tax form, and it did indeed expire on December 31.  I see that they are only valid for three years.

I have now submitted an updated form.  I will wait eagerly for tomorrow's sales to see if that fixes the problem.   :)

My RPD at Fotolia decreased drastically as of  November 2015. While most of 2015 and 2016 my average RPD was $1 or above, it fell to $0.7 in December and just a ridiculous (in Fotolia terms) $0.4 so far in January 2017. No more credit sales, too.

My tax form appears to be ok too as it says that expiry is N/A and status is green OK.

Would be sad if Fotolia doesn't pick up from slow winter/holidays season into the new year.

The prices I'm getting today are back to normal.  Updating the tax form did fix the problem.

I also had a green check mark beside mine.  That is just there from its original approval.  It doesn't mean that it hasn't expired.

I had a couple of 23 cent sales , I queried it with Fotolia saying my minimum should be 27 cent , I got a reply saying the sales in question were  in fact credit sales and not subscription sales.

I'm getting 0,21 sales as well.

Apparently, Adobe doesn't feel the need to inform their contributors that tax forms have expired and simply withhold taxes without notice? Can I claim back these taxes?

I got warning messages from Adobe about expired tax form, with every message about my file being sold, until I submitted the new tax form.

Strange, because I also get 23 cent sales which are below my minimum guarantee and Adobe Stock's sales statistics says these are subscription sales:

Needless to say, my tax form has been updated and replaced the old one (despite the fact that I too didn't get any notification anywhere about the expired previous version).

Would appreciate Adobe/Matt to comment.

Sales there seem to have dropped a lot recently. A lot more $0.25 sales than usual but that alone isn't the reason for the decrease in earnings.

Got a $0.19 subscription sale today. I'm bronze on FT/AS and as far as I understand, my minimum guaranteed subscription royalty is $0.27. What do I miss?

My sales were much better - price and volume - when Fotolia was on its own, and it went on for about three or four months with Adobe.
Starting about September 2016  to today, my sales and volume are at downfall. I have had a number of 24 cents sales, and recently 27 cents seems to be the max.
That does not really make me happy.

Can only concur with that statement and confirm the same behavior for my port at Fotolia.

Uploading a tax form doesn't necessarily make you exempt from paying taxes. Depending on where you live, you may be required to pay taxes on sales based in the US for example. I don't have specific details to offer on tax rates. My recommendation is to consult with a local tax adviser.
