Typical for large companies - they push the changes forcefully down our throats without asking us or listening to us anything. And who cares about speed and features / functionality, it's all about makeup / design. Nice going, Adobe.

Anybody get an email from Adobe RE: a survey about Adobe Stock and the Contributor platform?
I'm about to take it and probably not be complimentary.

I got an email that said this, but no survey...but I am not a big player.

The Fotolia portal now offers limited features including cashing out, content editing, and using the tax center until 5 November 2019. After this date, the platform will be closed. To continue accessing the complete set of contributor tools, sync your account on Adobe Stock now, if you have not already done so.

I did, and I took the survey as best I could. They asked for one feature to improve and I gave them a list (it was a field you could type into). I'm not sure how they came up with the questions though as the one about where you added keywords didn't include Photoshop, so I had to put that in "Other"!

I found many of the questions vague and was surprised at how few topics they touched on.

Now, since all the useful links got removed from Fotolia, I was forced to actually use the Adobe for the 1st time. And it's absolutely awful and stupid (no offense Adobe, but it really is), even more than I originally thought. I won't even bother listing why, it's obviously pointless and I have better things to do. How could anybody chose this over Fotolia is incredible...

And how can we even track sales (simple chronological list), maybe I missed it?

How can they construct something so unintuitive?

Look at what Fotolia had easily available.  Duplicate it.

Whats weird to me is my current balance is tiny, but my lifetime earnings are in a huge font.  I only care about what I can cash out.  That should be easily visible.

Everything is far too large, any way reduce the size of everything and crop out all the white space. The sooner this fashion is out of date the better. Don't even start on the keyword list!

It would be fantastic if they actually asked contributors what they looked at and wanted to see instead of just making something fancy that makes it hard or impossible to get the information we want to see.  For instance what SS did putting lifetime earnings in a huge font first. Sure it is nice to be able to see that number, but I'd check it once a year or so after passing any milestones that make a difference there (once you are in the highest tier).

On the AS page there is so much blank space they could put all the information on one page instead of requiring a click to see each separate thing.

Seeing recent sales should be one click max.  Anything more is wasting everyone's time.  Hopefully the nice Adobe people will make the adjustment.

Another Fotolia feature that is missing from AS is the ability to determine the exact sum you want to convert. I had to make a payout request yesterday and eventually got back to Fotolia to be able do it. What is Adobe team thinking - that so many FT contributors avoided AS until the very last minute out of spite or laziness? Maybe they should take a hint.

It's also annoying that it keeps pushing you to "Contributor of the week" first when you go to insights. It should go straight to the stats as that's what 99% of people want to see first.

Or making some contributor app like ss have. One click and you see latest sales!

I wonder how much time AdobeStock payments will be. The same as fotolia or going like Istock and once a month ... a month later ?

I agree.  I want to type how much of my balance to send.  I hate that Dreamstime doesn't let you.  Sometimes I go into the source and change it.

instead of bring the dashboard contributor overview from fotolia to adobe stock, they just delect them in fotolia to bring you to adobe stock. what a **** move  >:( .

Now I waste more time with clicking to get any stats information and also the site loading is really slow.

For all of you complaining that Adobe isn't listening to contributors or that the new site doesn't work as well as the old one... This move ain't about you, it's being done to make someone's life at Adobe easier.

Just talked to someone at Adobe, they are reading this thread and seems like they are listening to the concerns posted here ...that's a breath of fresh air. hopefully Adobe Stock (contributor) Portal will evolve to a lean & mean insight machine for all of us contributors.

Definitely Fotolia! Transitioning from FT to AS is tough...

I found the survey in my spam folder.  For the first question, it took me about 10 clicks to figure out where my contributor level was, lol.

Hey, I made Emerald at some point!

Well one think I noticed when I requested a payout, it seemed to payout the entire balance vs. letting you choose the amount (I like to keep it to round numbers).

Hey, I made Emerald at some point!

You're a talented man :)

Congrats on Emerald, although if your proportion of credit sales to total sales is as low as mine is, it really doesn't matter any more from a money point of view. For any sales made via Adobe Stock, Fotolia rank makes no difference to earnings

If  MatHayward is reading this, the FT rank was a great reference, unique for the industry.

I am disappointed to see it gone.

It was a good indicator, allowing better understanding of the contributor's position relative to the agency's performance.
I knew I don't have to worry when my sales were lower, but my rank stayed the same or improved. Or I knew that I was doing better than the rest, that week, when my weekly rank improved.

Mat, bring it back, please!

If Adobe are reading this they should now that their Uploaded Files submission page is very buggy especially if you multi select files.

The 'Recognizable people or property?' buttons are not working properly. They work great the first time and then they break. Even when 'No' is already selected you have to click on 'Yes' and then 'No' again.

The 'Auto Keywords' always messes up when you multi select. It adds auto keywords whether you want them or not. It does not remember any keywords the file may already have.

What the point in uploading images to Adobe when they're only paying 33%!
