Very nice gift from Adobe, although I don't meet criteria. Even if I meet them, I am wondering would I be able to get free 1-year subscription and is it worth to look foward to other promotions. I am from Croatia, in my country Adobe CC web subscription is not available, which is pretty big issue for photographers and designers here.

So my questions are:
Will Adobe make promotions available equally for all contributors, even us from countries without subscription?

If I decide to buy subscription some day, will I be able to do it if I get Adobe ID via syncing my Fotolia and Adobe Stock account? I guess not, but it's worth asking.

I don't want to tar all illustrator artists with the same brush, so sorry for including the 'good guys' in this generalisation, but from a lot of the illustrations I see... you'll probably get a bunch of contributors make some white, tubby, featureless character holding a sign, and then they'll just render out a version face on, and then one rotated 1 degree to the left, 2 degrees to the left... and before you know it, they've uploaded 360 illustrations from a mornings work. Criteria met!
I know what you mean, but these aren't done by "Illustrator artists". Those are rendered. I was talking about vector illustrations. But anyway: There are *some* 3D artists spamming as well as vector illustrators as well as photographers. Doesn't make a difference. They could have easily set different criteria (e.g. solely the annual earnings), if they're afraid of that.
Plus, if they accept such, this is ... I was just tempted to say "not our problem", but actually it *is*. One of the biggest issues I, personally, have with this industry. ;)

what if we already met both criteria in March this year through Fotolia and synced accounts today?

In that scenario you should be good to go!

Nice move from Adobe but no, thanks.
I am alergic to all subscription plans.
I bought 5 years ago a high end computer which is still working like a charm, fast like new one. My secret, no Internet connection, no stupid system and software updates which are made in "background". Don't like to rely on computer and marketing "wizards".
For Internet I use a laptop, reset and cleaned every 6 months.

This is the reason there is a 50% approval ratio requirement in place to qualify. In my opinion this is a reasonable ratio  that should be met by most contributors. The exception would be image spammers with the intent to game the system.

I found my answer in Official rules, looks like Croatia is eligible for this promotion. Sorry Mat, I haven't found that info before. Surprising but nice.

... and that's absolutely fine with me, Mat. (I'm at 90% or such, anyway.) But then I understand even less why Adobe doesn't "reward" us illustrators in an equal way. I actually *do* some image editing (both in PS and LR) as I'm a graphic designer, but I spend a lot more time working in Illustrator. So, there isn't too much of a benefit for me, although I easily qualify. :/

Since we're talking about acceptance ratio there is 1 thing I would like to mention. If you upload photos, and then for whatever reason delete them before they are reviewed, they're still calculated into acceptance ratio even they were never reviewed. And ofcourse ratio drops because photos don't end up in you portfolio.

My acceptance ratio is 94% so I really don't care about that, I'm just saying how things are.

One more thing I'll never understand, either.

To my knowledge they are not all accounted for yet. You should be getting a code within 6-8 weeks if you have had over 300 approved this year.

I think I qualify for the Video part CC as I have met the requirements, have not received a message yet, so maybe in the next few days?

I already bought my Adobe CC Yearly plan so It would be great if I can save the code for renewal next year.  Thank you for giving us contributors this perk, since many of us are loyal Adobe customers it is just one more reason to stick with the platform.     :D

In the next 6 to 8 weeks, minus the 8 days since this thread was opened!

Hi, do u know if you need to upload 300 new clips this year or just have at least 300 in your port? I qualified in the first month if the latter? I'm taking a year off to study and invest in Crypto's so I haven't uploaded 300 new video files this year?

BIN that - I just re-read and it said.. or $500 in earnings. Cool!!!

Thank you Adobe. It is so great to see  at least one agency doing something for contributors. We do not get much of it nowadays. We will not forget that ;)

Im sorry if this is of-topic or i should start a new Topic for my problem.

I had a problem with payout on Adobe contributor, it was only showing Skrill, ( no paypal )
Also the currency was automatically set to Korean WON.

So i started a Chat on contributor help panel, i said to him that i a cannot find paypal but just skrill,
He said he can help me, so he reset my account, my portfolio was gone!, but the worst my earnings also gone!  :-\.
he said he was not aware that im an contrubotur and can not do anything, and repeated i should by a subscription, or converse my lost earnings in a subscription?

This is miserable, Adobe has made money with my content, but i got nothing!  :-X

Start a new thread if your portfolio has not returned. I imagine the earnings figure was probaby being transferred. I doubt the Chat is a scam.

I qualify but no email. Since I subscribe monthly to PS and PR, I doubt I'll get one. It's probably just a ploy to get new subscribers. Personally I think 50% ongoing discount would be an appropriate arrangement.

50% discount better of one year free???
Strange way to think about it. Anyway as you said you qualify, please donate me your coupon 😁
It s possible, Matt had clearly talk about this option! 😁

I'm not a fan of subscription software, but this move is nice. I made 858 with video since January, but no eMail yet. Hopefully this eMail will be send in the next few weeks...
